And I'm at the point where my heart just breaks for Bennett. His confidence is just at an all time low. Honestly all he needs is in a game score a few easy baskets under the ring to gain just a TAD of confidence. I still have faith in him.
Brown should make him the focal point of the offense for a game or two.. See if he has the cojones to make it in the NBA, if not ,cut him to d league and force his hand. Can't keep making excuses for Bennett, he's a Top Ten pick, time to start producing like one.
Good points Please don't take this the wrong way but what harm can it do to the team as they not travelling to well anyways?
We can all see he needs the boost so give him the ball where he wants it and let him do what made you pick him number 1. They were so high on him on draft day and unless there's something else to this story they can't just bench him or DNP each night. He ain't kwame brown yet.
Safe to say MCW is about to be named Philly's first Rookie of the Month since Allen Iverson back in April 1997. Equally safe to say Sixers fans are watching what happens with New Orleans as closely as their own team with the Pels owing them a first-rounder in June unless it falls in the top five. The play seemed so routine, so mundane at the time, that Anthony Davis couldn’t recall many of its specifics two hours later. What Davis did know is that on a New Orleans first-quarter possession Sunday, he tried to catch an alley oop pass and banged his left hand on the rim. As he sat in a somber Madison Square Garden postgame locker room, he also knew that he had sustained a non-displaced fracture in the hand. As the Pelicans traveled to Chicago for Monday’s game against the Bulls, Davis’ timetable for the injury was still to be determined. “I was going up for a lob, got fouled and hit my hand on the rim,” said Davis, who continued to play several possessions before permanently exiting the 103-99 win over the Knicks. Davis couldn’t remember which New York player made contact with him from behind, but it was Amar’e Stoudemire, whistled for a defensive foul. Davis’ status will be updated in the coming days. A few minutes after the final buzzer Sunday, the 6-foot-10 power forward was hopeful that the injury would not cause a lengthy absence. He missed 18 games during his 2012-13 rookie season, due to a combination of separate injuries. NBA.com - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.QtZIVFCP.dpuf
He's not a top ten pick - He was the NUMBER ONE pick! He should be producing, for a number of reasons he's not. They need to do something with him to get him back in the game - D League, let him sit out a week or 2 and work individually, let him play with Uncle Drew, whatever he needs - right now he isn't getting the ball in scoring positions or situations, his confidence is shot - he and the team need to do something to get him into the game.Brown should make him the focal point of the offense for a game or two.. I think the reality is it is beyond just giving him the ball and do you really think any of the defenders are going to let him just catch it and go to work? He's not in a dominant mindframe to be able to do it eitherGood points Please don't take this the wrong way but what harm can it do to the team as they not travelling to well anyways?

This is a better option, get it to him when he is open. Tell him to stop shooting threes, even if he thinks he can or did in College - he can't right now - 16.7% tells you that(3/18) and taking 1.4 per game, I don't want my 4 man shooting that many 3s.Been saying this on twitter for weeks man, run the offense through Bennett, even if it's only for about half a quarter, just to see how it works. Or play him with the starters and see if he can get open when Kyrie or Bynum get doubled.

It's interesting to look at his shot chart so far this season -
- only 16 out of 49 shots are from inside the key - I'd think fairly low for a 3/4/5 man.
- 3/15 makes from under the basket
- 7/32 makes from outside the key (Not including the 1/1 from the left hand block)
and because someone will complain we all know his shooting is shotbut it is interesting none the less.

Injury Updates: Jordan Farmar is expected to miss four weeks after an MRI revealed a torn left hamstring today.
Pau Gasol's MRI also confirmed that he has a mild sprain of his right ankle.
Forget about kwame 2.0 for a second and have a laugh at the train wreck that is the Brooklyn nets.. what a crazy situation.
Need to get some zimmer frames and colostomy bags on the sideline.. Haha
And the Knicks are worse and they have no injuries do they?
They're so bad they are wrecking other teams' records!! Onya Amare, kill the NBA highlight packages by taking out A.Davis why don't ya
How can you lose to a tanking Bucks and a Davis-less Hornets? Unless the Knicks themselves are tanking?
he should only be out a few weeks, maybe a month. not season ending or anything. And that Davis injury is shattering, although, it shouldn't be too bad.
He's been amazing, doing things not done in the NBA since D. Rob and Hakeemthose are some big time stat comparisons.
I don't think D League is the answer. He could have 20 and 10, then comeback and be the same.
After watching more and more, he is getting wide ope
Ha ha, well played Matt.
It's a shame about both teams really. I like watching KG, Pierce and the rest of the Nets players going to work when they're healthy, they haven't been able to do it yet.
What's that saying?
"It's better to retire one year too early than one year too late"
I hope that's not the case for KG coz I've always loved his game.
The Knicks I think can come good, but they'll be making a trade for sure.
