If so, the reason Philly will trade him is a) they didn't sign him to am extension when they had the chance, so he's not apart of their future and b) the way he's playing he will probably get a pretty good offer In FA next year, which philly won't be able to match or just won't want to match, so they would rather get young talent and picks for him now while his stock is high , rather then him leave Im FA
also he's helping the win games and assuming philly wants to get a high pick, they would wanna trade him
I believe as a team you would be happy to win games with a young core like turner, MCW and young. I don't see a point in trading away talented players in order to draft other talented players. I think spurs are proof of build with what you have.
