Official 2012-13 NBA Regular Season Thread. SPOILERS

Just the Curry and Thompson show, they are the only 2 to score in the 3rd 5 minutes in. Scored 19 between them in 5 minutes of play. Take their backcourt out and the Warriors would only have 17 points....lol
 
What an unbelievable game

Landry missing the chance to win the game, than Dwight goes 1 from 2 at the line and Curry almost gets a 70 feet 3 Pointer to go....

Yep, that really didn't look good for Kobe. Couldn't really move his foot so it looks like a torn achilles and the look on his face said it all. I'm not a Kobe fan at all, but my god he has some determination. Unfortunately to his own body's detriment.
 
Hate to see that happen to such a great player, fought thru so many injuries for him and the team and now get into a playoff position and now have this happen. Such a horrible season for LA this year. Hopefully he comes back bigger and better some time next year. Its a pretty serious injury and takes a long time to heal.

On a bright note it give Dwight the chance to show us what hes made of.
 
Wow! This really hurts. It has deffenetly been a rough ride for us Laker fans this year. I still have hope that we can make the playoffs. Beating a top team like SA and OKC will be a very hard task, but i guess we will see what we can do.
Time for Dwight to step up and run this team.
 
YAY, something Mavs fans can cheer about this season... they've re-reached .500 again... Time to shave those beards!!

In saying that, what happens if they drop the next 2 games?
 
Surely the NBA have to do something with this personal take foul rule. Fans pay big $$ to see a game of basketball not giants shooting FT constantly. Spurs have nothing to lose in the game really yet the foul Dwight 4 times as a personal take in the last 1:30 of the 3rd.

Spurs have nothing to lose? How about top spot in the West and possible home court advantage against OKC in the Conf Finals (if they were to get through).

I agree, fans do pay big $$$ to see a game, but Dwight also gets paid a crap load of money to practice AND make his free throws.
 
yeah i'm just looking at it from a fans point of view tho, how pissed would u be just watching FT after FT rather than a close intense playoff spot battle.
 
No one likes to see stoppages and FTs, but how entertaining would it be if you were there... taking the piss outta Howard at every miss!!!

Unless... of course, he's a Mav... which, he WILL be next season! :thumbsup:
