Official 2012-13 NBA Regular Season Thread. SPOILERS

Man....the Clippers look good.
Their bench is deep with great role-players.....Odom, Crawford, Bledsoe, Turiaf......their depth will only improve when you consider G.Hill, Barnes and Billups are sitting out!!
Just not sure about Willie Green starting.

Firstly, I love NBA League Pass (especially when its FREE) Just finished watching Pacers game against Toronto. Whilst I dont expect much from them this season, Toronto is slowly building up a nice little pool of talented young players up there in Canada. Lowry and Big V (nice Double Double on debut big man) are great additions to their team, and their depth is actually very good considering the expectations on them (as in, not much).

But onto the winning team. Great comeback down the stretch. Went into lockdown mode on D and really restricted Raptors offensive flow in last 5 minutes. Indiana are gonna struggle until Granger comes back, but a great away win nonetheless, with David West going into beast mode in the 4th qtr.

Quick word to Dwayne Casey - ever heard of a double team? West is absolutely dominating Bargnani, inside and outside, taking him off the dribble for layups, yet Toronto dont look to double team at all??? That was the difference in the game. Toronto should have won this one, and at home will likely pull off some upsets this season, but they need to D-up if they are gonna make any significant improvement this year.

Howard has 11-14 ft in the first half! Wonder if they are targeting him hoping he would shoot like yesterday.

Yep, they have a few issues! The whole transition thing is not great. only 4 fast break points v's 19 from Portland...

Lakers have really looked quite ordinary so far, but just remember how Miami started out when the Big 3 got together, they copped a pounding from Boston 1st game, and looked so disjointed on offense that most wondered how it would possibly work. By end of season they are in Finals, so lets not write off Lakers just yet. No I'm not a Lakers fan, just a realist, there is too much talent on that team for them not to make WCF (against OKC).

Also, to any Harden doubters...anything else to say?

Harden played magnificent today and will get all the credit for the win. But lets not forget about Jeremy Lin, for those like me that watched it on League Pass you would have seen how comfortable he looked running the team along side Harden. I was a massive skeptic about Lin getting that big deal but while his numbers weren't anything like Harden's he still played a major role. That Houston team excites me alot with their young talent.

I'm a Dwight fan not a Lakers fan ( so had to say that) and I reckon your right, they will get it together and be an imposing team to play, likely even dominant. But look at the box score for the last 2 games, there is really no support outside the big 4 (Pau in that group). I guess I'm just struggling to see even where it will come from at this stage...

I'd been saying from the day they traded him that harden will go off. What a game. And talk about an awesome 1st game by lillard , 23 points 11 assists and a win over the lakers. Actually really like the Portland lineup and it will be interesting to see what they do if they stay healthy

Nash went off injured late in the 2nd quarter... returned to start the 3rd but only play a minute before leaving for good

Had to be helped off when he first did it, then limped off himself when he returned in the 3rd... Their calling it 'shin contusion', and is a chance to miss a couple...
