Official 2011-2012 Playoff thread

Ha ha, Dallas still have Dirk, a much better player than the Heat have faced.

I think the Lakers might have been too big for them. That's all.

Watched every game that was on fox and have really enjoyed these playoffs.

How good the Pacers are??? Ha ha. They are as good as the Jazz. If they were in the West they would've come 8th. They played well though and are tough. But you're kidding yourself. Teams will scout them next season and I don't thikn they'll come 3rd next year. Although the East is soooooo weak they may do it again.

Look, I love the Celts, but they were banged up and struggling. It was the Heats only tough match up.

It's been said before.

OKC had to go through the teams that have won the last 10 of 13 championships and 11 if you include the Finals.

I said in my predictions before the playoffs that it was too tough a run and I did'nt think they could do it. Or if they could, it would be one helluva championship.

I don't think they Heat could've gotten through the same run that OKC has.

My opinion.

Heat are a championship level team, no doubt, they were last year too. But the weakness of the East kills me. It's getting better.

Dirk wasnt playing the level he was last year. Did you forget that the Heat faced Melo and Rondo..

Cmon man, Youre going to go with the 'size' argument witht the Lakers Pau and Bynum?? Lets see then...

Knicks: Def POY Tyson Chandler and Amare. Result?
Pacers: Roy Hibbert and David West. Result?
OKC: Serge Ibaka, Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Durant. Result?

Dont think the heat have had any problems going up against size...

"Celtics were banged up"?? Who?? Ray Allen? What about not having Bosh for the first few games...

These so called 'championship teams' are not the same when you lose key players.

Ok so let me see if I understand this, OKC are the best the West has, the Heat are beating them 3-1 yet you say they would struggle in the West?

People just couldn't think properly when Lebron is winning.

They say the west will win the championship no matter if its OKC or the Spurs come out of it because neither the Heat or the C's are good enough to challenge the west teams. I reckon the C's can also beat any of those west teams...

There is no doubting that Miami are earning their rings, more so Lebron is earning their rings, but to say that they had as tough a run in the playoffs as OKC is just laughable.

The Pacers came up good at the right time, but are no Dallas, even the 2012 Dallas.
NY were a mess! Sure they had a couple of stars at times, but no consistency from the end of the season, a new coach and injuries galore including Shumpert who was vital to their structure.
Boston were not 'Boston' either, yet Miami took that series a lot further than they should have!

OKC won 2 games in the Dallas series by under 3 points from memory, so they were far from easy!

SA were seen by most as almost 'shoe ins' for the title, yet OKC destroyed them 4 games straight!

Granted you can't say that Miami would not have won the west, but you certainly can't say that Miami had a tougher run than OKC!

^^^ That was some nastyness on that dunk.

I like Cole's composure, this kid is in his first season gets into the finals and shows no fear at all. Love it!

Yeah, like Kawhi Leonard did with the Spurs, Cole has just taken the finals in his stride!!

Cole played at times this year at ROY standard.
I can't believe people who don't like LBJ are now saying he got an easy run. Everyone was invited and these are the best. Everyone had a chance, OKC will have their time, and it may outshine Miami, LA, SA or even the Bulls.

No one said it was easy! But that it was easier than OKC!

Miami made it harder than it should have been!
