Official 2011/12 All-Star Weekend thread

Hahaha yeah Marsh was trying to do a Julian Wright impersonation on that dunk I think

Kyrie and Wall were awesome, George played very well too and I didn't know Turner was such a good passer with good court vision.

Kyrie was amazing ;) New PC player I think :)
The rest were awesome aswell actually the first Rising star game iv'e been able to see! :)
I liked the fact they didn't try to defend to hard the whole game like didn't lay down for the other team just made sure it looked good haha except when they double teamed Griffo lol he didn't like that too much haha.
But had fun watching it hope I can watch todays action! :)

We really have something speical in Irving...and Tristisan Thompson got 20 points as well :)

Kyrie Irving was labeled a “can’t miss” rookie when he was taken atop last June’s NBA Draft. And on Friday night – matched up against fellow freshman and some sophomores – he really couldn’t miss.
OK, he missed one shot – as did his Cavalier teammate, Tristan Thompson. But when it was all said and done, Cleveland’s precocious point guard still went 12-for-13 from the floor, including a jaw-dropping 8-of-8 from 3-point range, netting a game-high 34 points and running away with MVP honors in the inaugural BBVA Rising Stars Challenge at Amway Arena in Orlando.
Thompson, the No. 4 pick in 2011, came off the bench for Team Shaq and was just as effective – albeit from closer range – going 10-for-11 from the floor to lead his squad with 20 points, dunking home everything he got his hands on.

How good is this kid?? I love watching him play... unselfish and spectacular - the pump fake is so fundamental but he does it so well, evan turner had no idea what was going on LOL

Irving came across as an arrogant self absorbed person during that skills challenge! All the other competitors enjoyed it, included the kids in it and congratulated each other, Irving did nothing!
