Well, we can tell you Souths had shown early interest in Peter Wallace but coach Michael Maguire has gone cold on the idea and they are zeroing in on Cooper Cronk.
The problem for the Storm halfback is his bumbling manager, Gavin Orr, who has put a price tag of about $850,000 per season on his player's head.
Meanwhile, it was hardly breaking news to hear of the Roosters' interest in Sonny Bill Williams.
Will it happen? Sonny says no. Roosters staff, however, have been saying they will be shocked if he isn't there in 2013.

I would purely take Coote over Gorden due to age, Coote has a long career ahead of him, Gorden is going on to 29, still has a few good years in him... No need for Coote to tackle his a fullback if the other 12 can't stop a player, what hope does a fullback have

On top of that, rumour has it that the Sydney Roosters are preparing to make a play for coach Craig Bellamy for 2014 and beyond.

yes but cootes future lies at the windsor wolves in the NSW cup not the NRL.
I feel left outI don't remember him ever making me captain when he was my PE teacher in high school.
You probably weren't inconsistant enough. Not a fan of the 5 player captaincy myself but hope it works for us.
The wait for the season to start is killing me this year, I need my footy fix!

How is this Dugan was done at .197 no licence and goes to court 15th of Feb, Don Furner told him that if the sponsorship falls over with Dick Smith that will ask him for damages. Dugan said if thats the case I would like a release now, funnily enough he got a call from Des Hasler the next day and it is where all this Dugan to Dogs rumour has come from, apparently if the Raiders say we want damages he will walk to the Dogs this year.

I've heard it as well.... I live here and I can tell you the whole town is on the quiet!! Everyone knows it but nobody talks about it... Apparently goes to court (If he fronts) in 2 weeks. Not the first time he's been done without a licence since I've been here.... But he is like royalty here...... #Kiktameselfdoogs......
