The Sharks were hammered in that first half - 65% possession against them, penalties against them, 3-4 goal line drop outs.

Couple that with all the off field crap and injury list….sheesh, they're doing the shire proud.

To go down 12-16 against a team on the charge is a real testament to their resolve. Sad thing is, they have every reason to lose the plot, drop their bundle, limp to round 26, getting pounded week in, week out. But fark me, they've soldiered on, determined not to let it kill them. The table won't truly reflect how tough they've had it this year.

I agree, the sharks and knights can hold their heads high this year despite being down the bottom. Both have had plenty of off field dramas and while they have had their share of floggings they have been unlucky and for the last month have both played good football. Canberra on the other hand have no real excuses aside from being quite woeful. Last night was good though as they seemed committed and defended well and it gave an insight as to how they might line up next year.

Hopefully that win today for the Panthers guarantees them a finals spot with the tough run home (Cowboys, Storm, Eagles (A), Warriors)

Cheers

Just an observation.

Most of the teams going well this year have some newer coaches , whilst the ones that have some tried (or tired) & true ones are not.

Guess what I'm trying to say is good to see some new blood.

Obviously there are some exceptions for a couple of teams due to other influences.

This bloke is a Lazy (only wanna play state of origin ) CROCK. How many games has the injured/ sick hack played for the club that pays his wages this year?

For what its worth, the mail I read yesterday from someone who works at the airport was that Gal was sick as a dog upon landing in NZ and the airport staff who saw/spoke to him gave him little to no chance of taking the field in his condition. I don't really think we can go over the top calling him lazy/soft whatever if the bloke was genuinely crook.

reynolds getting 3 weeks is laughable
good to see todd greenberg still looking after his dogs mates
I love a good conspiracy theory as well although what has Todd Greenberg got to do with the judiciary, perhaps it is the ghost of Bullfrog Moore?

Once you take the emotion out of the decision (I don't like the tool either) I think the decision is fair. 1 week for missing Thaiday (exonerated if he got him) and 2 for the trip.
