And I think the only reason he would consider Canberra is because the Tigers can't afford his asking price. Canberra have a spare 1million they had aside for Milford apparently and with the rumour that White and campo might be retiring that will free up some more $$

If he goes I would be stoked to have him as a Canberra fan but as rugby league fan I would be sad to see him leave his junior club.

The sooner the Dragons AXE Price, the better...
Not so sure Michael, What happened to your saviour Bunji?? did he play any good?
Who would you have as coach?
Only gonna get worse when Laurie Daley sticks with players like Merrin, Josh Dugan, why ill never know, And is part of the problem why NSW cant win a series.

Rumours around the army at the parra game is price is gone this week Mcgregor's name was been mentioned to replace him if thats the case we are going further backwards ,also heard Tim Sheens name but thats nearly as bad if not worse that Mcgregor , the coach we need waiting for the call up is Neil Henry ,so Doust go and get him and stop stuffing around you clown.

Yes Daley is a big fan of both Dugan and Merrin but i think Merrin and Morris and the only 2 Dragons worthy of a blues jersey.

Benji aint our saviour if forwards are going nowhere, you could put Langlands, RGasnier, King, BSmith etc in their prime and they would still do nothing...
I would take Henry and get MParish as his assistant, I would remove Price, McGregor, CYoung completely from the club and a few players as well....

You leave Parish alone otherwise who will replace Ricky next week???

The refereeing between Canberra & Penrith today was a joke. I will stop short of saying it cost Canberra the match because it didn't, they made far too many basic errors to deserve the win but FMD, 4 atrocious calls against Canberra in the second half, the NRL needs to get the consistency sorted

As a Penrith supporter i agree with you. Was a really scrappy game but the referring was poor. The last penalty to Simmons shouldn't have been a penalty as both were going for the ball.

I dont think Chicko has anything to worry about with his elbow and i thought they would have pulled up the Moylan try for obstruction on Docker given previous decisions, but im glad that they let it go as he didnt impede the Raiders player he just brushed him.

Good to see a game with a bit of niggle.

Cheers
Matt

Yeah I was happy for the Moylan try to be awarded because I think the way the obstruction rule is currently interpreted is BS. Docker barely touched Papa and there was no way he was going to stop Moylan but to be consistent it should have been no try.

The biggest howler for me was ruling the penalty against Shillo and then reversing it. Canberra scored from that play and I think they should have gone upstairs and reviewed. I am not certain if the try would have been allowed anyway because they may have ruled that Shillo took out a defender when reacting to the elbow but we will never know.

As I mentioned though Canberra made far too many basic mistakes and didn't really deserve the win.

Blake Ayshford, mmm, seldom seemed interested at the Tigers, now been told to look elsewhere in his first season at the Sharks, fair dinkum I suppose their big benefactor meant that they could sign every nobody and the money is still to come through!.
Steve Price thought that Benji would be the answer to his prayers yet @ 0-36 against the 2 times Wooden Spooners he couldn't pull off a miracle!.
Listened to the Ray Hadley called Raiders V Panthers game and was led to believe it was an exciting close contest but to be told at half time it was a lack lustre game!, will have to watch the replay to make my own judgement.
My side might have won last night but in circumspect a 2 point victory over the certain wooden spooners doesn't inspire me too much but what about the V/8's with Chas Mosert winning, go Bro!.

Isaac Luke extends at Souths until the end of 2017.

Guess he's not off to the Warriors just yet.

Hopefully you can't keep hold of Koroisau then! Interesting move from Luke, he was very candid about wanting to come to Auckland, perhaps he was driving his price up. The writing was on the wall when we re-signed Friend last week . As much as I'd love to have him, it is always nice to see players stay with one club.

As far as the Allwood signing goes, stated on two Aussie radio stations and in a Sydney paper yet no hint of it in NZ media?? Starting to sound bogus to me
