Did you even bother to read the articles about it??? Did you think we where paying the bulldogs compensation so another team could sign him??? I believe the Broncos approached him or Barba's manager approached the Bronco's before the release was asked for but however it happened I like the fact that his contract is not for more than what he was already contracted for and that the Dogs get compensation. It might go someway to stop players leaving mid contract because they think they are worth more.

From the Panthers member forum tonight:
- Ivan Cleary has had his contract extended until 2016
- Royce Simmons will be back at the club in a marketing capacity looking after the Captains Club which is a corporate/member game day facility
