Could even end up getting Barba, MIlford. Cam Smith and Karmichael Hunt - they are the strong rumours and the way they are clearing out they may have a bit of cash up there sleeve to have a go for it.
 
Karmichael and Smith would have massive earning potential outside the cap playing in brisbane. Can't see us getting Hunt and Smith on top of Milford and Barba though especially after we just re signed B. Hunt for another 2 and the massively talented Ash Taylor set to join the main squad next year as well.
 
Hasn't Martin Kennedy from the Roosters signed with the Broncos as well?, I think I remember hearing last year that Milford was homesick and wanted out of Canberra about the same time he made the NYC side.

Yeah that has been doing the rounds for a while that he was homesick and wanted out however I have Since heard that he has settled somewhat and is well supported by Papa and his family. A couple of weeks ago the Raiders flew Milford's family down and I am sure I heard they are looking to relocate them.

They tried to get his family to move down but they didn't want to leave the extended family behind so said no. That's why he's trying to go back home now.
 
If that is the case then it would appear he is as good as gone.

Another junior cultivated by the Raiders and lost (if he goes). In this case though another club can't be blamed, family should always come first.

i think the fact they signed that young fullback from the dragons, is an indication that barba is all but gone.

are you sure you wouldnt want a replacement like dugan, as much as he is a bit off a hindrance off the field, cant deny his class on the field.

Apparently Milford is 100% Bronco bound just not known whether it'll be for 2014 or 2015. Could be announced as early as Wednesday.

There is still some involvment but not as much as there used to be. The Raiders use the Mounties now. They wanted to stay with Logan but Geoff Carr threatened to kick the Raiders Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams out of the comps if the Raiders stayed using a QLD feeder team instead of NSW one.
