I didn't mind him as a reserve hooker at the Raiders and it was a shame to see him go. He can defend quite well but his options out of dummy half left alot to be desired. He killed it in the QLD Cup and may do allright under Bennett at the Knights if given an opportunity.

The Titans have named 2 captains and a backup captain for when the 2 regular captains are on State of Origin duty. They haven't officially named the captains yet so I will wait until they make their announcement before announcing it on here.

Titans have had 2 captains for most of their NRL life. It was only last year when Bull opted to take a step back from the joint captaincy with Prince, that we only had 1 captain.

I hope Zillman does get a crack at sometime, he really came of age last year. I was disappointed when he left the Raiders as he always had huge potential prior to the knee injuries!

That's why they chose 2. There's a good chance that at least 1 of them will be on the sidelines. AND with both their histories, put a clean skin like Zillman there just in case

The Titans have a good healthy culture at the club and have proven that they can turn a players (for want of a better word) attitude and lives around. Take Chris Walker for example. The Titans turned his life around for the better. He is now a very happy husband and father of 3. Bird since being at the club has been nothing but a good role model for younger players and fans and hasn't put a foot wrong.
