Ok Jesse , well us swamp rats were told not to go anywhere near those Bush pigs from Parkes!!!! Anyway because you seem like a good bloke and u follow the best team on this planet i can now class u as a mate!!!!....Also to be honest with u some of my best friends ended up coming from Parkes.... Have u ever heard of Kylie Wakefield , Fay Blackstock , Jay Cross , Andrew Trotman or Matt Hartly????

Heard of all of them and know alot of the Wakefield family pretty well. I know Kylies husband Mick extremely well, he worked for my uncle for years.

Josh Miller sounds a top bloke, just engaged as well apparently - you can tell by players reactions on twitter that he is a champion. Wishing him all the best in his retirement!

The Raiders started back at training today. Someone there has a sense of humour.

WHAT is wrong with this picture? On Saturday night, March 29, 2008, the Cronulla forward Paul Gallen infamously worked his fingers beneath the bandages of his opponent Anthony Laffranchi, and ripped into the fresh stitches the Gold Coast forward had just had put in a bad head wound. The result was so bloody that Gallen's purpose was achieved, and Laffranchi had to leave the field. Shortly thereafter, it seemed Gallen went after another player's testicles, putting him off his game, too. It was all part of Gallen's previously enunciated dictum: "We've got a motto here at the Sharks - do whatever it takes to win." Herald columnist Paul Sheehan, noting that Gallen's "record includes a laundry list of brawling, high hits, late hits and cheap shots", thought it so appalling he advocated that Gallen be charged with assault and obliged to get a zebra suntan for his trouble. Now fast forward to last Sunday afternoon, when Gallen's Cronulla played Canberra, and the young Raiders forward Josh Papalii was seen to constantly to be going after Gallen and giving him extra attention - all to good effect, as the Cronulla captain looked to be off his game. Asked about it afterwards, Gallen was scathing: "I really don't care about Papalii. He hit me with a dog shot with a swinging arm and once in the back without the ball." I repeat: what is wrong with this picture?

Such a true article. Gallen dished out grubby tactics for years and turns around bitching and whinging when he got dominated by a 20 year old rookie! At least the raiders left on the field and can have a laugh about it, no doubt Gallen would still be whining!

maybe the raiders dirty on field tactics is the reason channel 9 are only showing them on free to air in the first 20 rounds? thoughts gentlemen?

The raiders have struggled to get more than 1 or 2 FTA games per year for the last decade so that attempted point is moot.

As for Harrison if he can recapture his form from 2009 & 2010 he will be a great asset to the Dragons.
