Nope don't think it was, heard ours was 500k per year
Crazy $$$ if true, that should be reserved for your matt Scott's, Jesse bromwich's and jwh
Lots of $$ to be a 4th prop if the talk is true.
Oh well gives Alex twal are chance to make it over the next few years
........................ but we dont have cap dramas for last year or this year..............
i don't believe it's true, considering the source it comes from makes it hard to believe it. The Nrl have said they have already gone over the club with a fine tooth comb, if this is the case it would have been picked up. the only way i could see us having a salary cap issue is if Hopoate wins his case against the club and have to pay himIt couldn't be true could it???

maybe he is just not good enough, not that the clubs don't care, as you said it is a business, some clubs choose to buy a premiership like manly and Easts did in the seventies and eighties, brisbane just took all the talent Qld had to offer. We have to remember that's it's no longer 1986 when we all used to look after our mates but it's the 21st Century where it's now a business, Lane was a Junior who has been cast aside in a business transaction where 30 years ago you kept him for a few years hoping he'd come good, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but not too many people care about the NSWRL Cup, it's all big end of town stuff.
They should do what the Green Bay Packers do and sell shares, seats in club and be a non profit RL organisation. I'd buy shares.
think he meant to say 1 win. right.
