Guess eels and raiders have different styles of halves combos going forward, Norman will be the very dominant half for us and gutherson will be a solid option just doing the basics. Both halves combos will prob be on the same $$$ when you add both salaries.
Gutherson will also have the responsibility of being goal kicker as well

I watch them train everyday. Think Gutherson will surprise more than a few people
Rumour is the Telegraph found out somehow and were going to print an article about it the next day forcing Lovett's hand in turn forcing him to tell the club. The timeline doesn't add up though - rumours of the Tigers trying to offload Lovett in the week leading up to them finding out about his possession charge. I suspect someone inside the club knew for a couple of weeks and were trying to push him out the door before it all came out in the media. No wonder the Tigers wanted to offload Kyle Lovett, it's just come out that he has been busted for possession 'last year' but has only just remembered to let the club know!.
Gutherson may be the fittest player at the club but surely Radradra is the fastest. Has plenty of practice trying to run away from all his problems.Think the thought of gutherson as a halves option gathered a bit of momentum towards the back end of last season with the improvement in his game in the halves every week.
Brad Arthur always thought he was a lot better creating opportunities then being a finisher but was too good to leave out of our 17 hence picking him on the wing.
Gutherson is the fittest player at the eels by some stretch apparently and that includes players like Jennings, French and radradra that are all super talents. It won't be through a lack of effort if he doesn't suceed in the halves

The Broncos should never have let him go in the 1st place. Silly, sillly. KBroncos going after Ash Taylor to fill the void left by Hunt.
Nothing to see there, what happened to the 'market value' crap that the NRL goes on about??And Meads. Wanted $450k to come to Parra but happy with $200k at Broncos
