Korbin Sims released from Knights.

If as rumoured and Brisbane pick him up surely they will have to release someone to keep under the cap. Maybe James Roberts is gone!!

that's what I heard as well, what a load of crap. they get it easy enough with the Friday games and then allowed to under value a contract and top up with third party deals
Next thing James Roberts will get off with the shit he's involved in.

Think some very big $$$ changed hands to the nightclub to surpress the video from the integrity unit

Absolutely regarding CCTV. There is no legislation protecting its release, it is a discretionary thing as the CCTV is owned by the nightclub. The nightclub owner is hiding behind that excuse and his brown paper bags filled with $$$

Ben Hunt looks to be off to the Dragons in 2018 for 6 years according to channel 7

Least he wont have to worry about dropping the ball in a premiership decider ever again...

owner says he will do anything to help blah blah, next day, nah not handing over any footage. Could only be a few things that changed his mind

Just read that! 1 million per year, 6 years, big and risky numbers. I remember when Canberra signed Campese to a 5 year extension after his excellent 09/10 seasons. Didn't that backfire big time with his run of knee injuries!

Desperate times call for desperate measures, only way saints are going to draw players is by throwing massive overs at them

Mary McGregor is hardly a coach that will draw players

Corey Norman at 700-750 looks a bargain now

I think even that figure for Norman is overs. Until a half has played rep or at least consistently led their club in finals they can't be considered marquee. Norman has all the potential in the world and was one of the form halves in the first part of last year but I still believe at this stage in his career that is overs.

If hunt is worth 1 million, it's a bargain that we got Norman for 700ish.

Paul Vaughan, Junior Paulo and James graham Are costing their sides about 600ish per season and a half is more crucial to a team then a big bopper like them so to pay a quality half like Norman 700ish isn't too bad

I don't think you can compare a halves salary to a prop. Don't get me wrong, Norman is an excellent player and will play rep footy soon but until then or regular finals appearances I think no more than 600k.

Take Sezer and Austin, one in 500k and the other slightly under that. If Canberra go deep into the finals this year I feel that will put them into the 600k category
