NRL Insert Set......what would you create? (UPDATED WITH SOME NEWS)

Hi everyone,

Was thinking tonight about if you had to create an NRL insert set for a new release, what set would you like to see?

Thought of a few:

- Hitmen (biggest hitters in the game)
- Sharpshooters (featuring the best goal kickers)
- Famous Moments (from Club, Origin, Tests etc)

Anyone else think of some good themes to create sets of?

Good ideas Matt, we need something different. With all the stats they pump out these days there are plenty of options - tacklers, line-breakers, kickers, metre-eaters etc. Reminds me of the Dynamic sets, they had some good concepts (and some crappy ones) but they had plenty of variety. I've had enough of the Rookie thing right now, massive overkill in recent sets. I wouldn't mind some retro cards, not way back like the Centenary set, but a look back at some players who never got much card recognition from the last 20 or so years.

I was mucking around in Photoshop and made this very basic card but if you could imagine the writing in foil, and the card on thick stock, id like to see something like this.

Yeah, I was just thinking when I saw someone mention the Dynamic subsets, their one that compared an old player to a current player was pretty cool. Timewarp?
