NRL Finals Discussion

one of your best dave that cut deep

interesting to see how the donkeys go next year without lockyer and that grub thaiday as captain

Yeh I thought it was good..............lol, about Lockyer, I think the loss will be felt initially but not have the long lasting impact that people think. I heard the plan was for Ben Hunt to step up to play in the halves, that was his position in the Toyota Cup and if he is anything like the other young players in the site he will rise to the challenge.

I don't like Sam T as the choice for Captain as he has the niggle in his game such as being the 3rd person in a couple of times. Corey Parker has been the V/Captain for a while and I would have thought he deserved the honours.

Dave

Agree on Parker should have been made Captain.... Bronco's will be very powerful over the next few years they have a great core of young players at the moment who will only get better....

My understading it will be (assuming storm beat newcastle)

Week 2
Broncos v Dragons : Winner{(Dragons :) } to play Manly
Tigers v Warriors: Winner to play Melbourne

Dragons crowned 2011 Premiers

Leave out the last sentence and I agree with you.

did any one else enjoy gallops reception from melbourne as much as i did?

porbably wasnt good for the game etc, regardless of that it was hilarious.

Week 2 of Semi-Final Football

Wests V New Zealand -I'm a little worried about the bounce back factor in this game. Everyone seems to be writing the Warriors off after their dreadful display against the Broncos last week. Just reminds me of 2005 when the Cowboys got towelled up 50-6 in the first semi, were dismissed as a legitimate challenger, then won the next 2 games to make the grand final. Hopeing the Tigers don't look past them.

Brisbane V St.George-Illawarra -
St.George really need to score some points early in this game. If they drop behind against the Broncos i just see their heads going down again and confidence disapating. Think the Broncos will be too good but St.George is capable if they turn up with their heads screwed on.

Certainly did, Cant stand the arrogant *****,.

I still believe it will be a storm /broncos gf. Simply for all the hype of lockyer leaving a hero, and the storm showing up the NRL and winning AGAIN, this time with a legitimate team.

Reminds me of 2005 as well. I've had a recent boost of confidence though because Tigers were the joint favourites along with Storm after the Dragons game. For me the title is between Tigers, Storm, Broncos and Manly.

Warriors wont play like that 2 games i a row. Tigers better take this seriously. Who cares about the other game.

Couldnt have said it better, the refs all kiss lockyers feet and theres not team i hate more than st george.

i certainly wont be watching it.

sorry but theres not player i hate more than soward. and i know carney has to take some responsibility for his actions but as far as i know, Boyd had a huge part in carneys downfall this season on the kangaroo tour at the end of last year

on top of that i know defence wins games, but the dragons are plain boring. the tigers and warriors arent afraid to throw it around and make a game out of it. should be a cracker. il going to go out on a limb and say shaun johnson will out play marshall with some of his own tricks.

Hahaha Boyd is to blame for Carney, now i have heard everything, Boyd forced Carney to break a team promise of not drinking, Boyd forced Carney to do all the other stuff, but its not any Rooster players fault who were with him on numerous occasions... Yes Boyd forced him to drink during the Kangaroo tour, maybe we should blame Tim Sheens while we are at it, cause he picked Lote when Boyd should have been the winger, if he did, then Boyd wouldn't have had the spare time to go drinking with Todd, maybe Todd needs to take responsibility for his own actions, he is in his mid 20's...

P.S Time to shave the beards Tim and the boys....

WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite the dodgy call, a win is a win! Bring on the Storm who we line up well against!

Warriors got heaps of dodgy calls against them, they did very well to win, each half of footy they have played from the Brisbane game to Tigers they have improved, they will beat the Storm next week....

It's moments like these when I wonder why I support the Tigers.

Two years of heart break, hope Warriors crash and burn against Melbourne, Inu breaking his leg.
