I think the system employed re scheduling 15 odd weeks in advance is doomed to fail. There are always at least a few underachievers and surprise packets each year which means there's gunna be some crap games televised

Gus Gould tweeted that a little bird told him that Penrith would have Sunday games at home in round 3 and 4.

Thats just great the nrl want to use sonny bill airport dash run out williams as there big draw card to launch the 2013 season
The same guy that turned his back on the greatest game of all.
Shame NRL

Most Broncos games are boring as hell, but they are already televised every week.

As a Wellingtonian, this is a god send. Finally I'll be able to plan trips to games in advance and take advantage of cheap airfares!

Thanks NRL you can stick ya 2013 Draw up your ass. NO Roosters games in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast. How many times do we have to be let out. No brisbane in for the past 5-6 years.

Hand enough of the nrl screwing over SE QLD fans for a game in brisbane or gold coast. Yes they came to the gold coast last year but next year nothing. Really ticked off

^^^sorry to see your displeasure at the draw but the reality is the NRL simply can't cater for fans who live no where near their teams home ground your situation will always be pot luck^^^

The good news is at least you can plan in advance your trips away to see them.

Would have more to do with the Tigers attracting larger TV ratings.

They'll be solid this year - Made the NSW Cup Grand Final, Won the u20's Grand Final, Were early season favorites in 1st grade (then fell flat on their face). They will rate on TV regardless. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Raiders though

Yeah, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy though.

Nine always pumps up the Tigers and shows their games, Phil Gould goes on and on about how wonderful Benji is ... given the chance, if a side like Canberra was always shown and talked up like that, I reckon they'd rate just as well.
