I agree on the complete team sets ... it would be brilliant - all those lesser players over the years getting a decent record of their time with the club!

Hope they can find a photo for each player though, I wouldn't think it would be a problem in this day and age, but ESP and Select both use the same ones again and again.

Always comes down to cost. Using one of the photo sites "getty etc" could be expensive, dealing directly with a photographer and using some of there "less desirable shots" is usually a lot cheaper.

Correct... But the sending of the updated player cards as the season progresses is free - From my understanding.
But for that $35.... 20c you could well end up with 35+ cards!!

Under $1 / Postcard - Delivered to your door.
- Even if most teams just use a standard squad (25) it's under $1.50 / Card - Not considering the tin.... Delivered!!

Can hardly argue with that?

And if you pre-order a few sets - They give you a free lunch box... FREE!!

Line me up....

Given you have actually ordered them what is the registration to get the new cards mailed out? Was it something on the ordering form or was there nothing and just must appear automatic when an order is placed?
 
I'm guessing that process will be undertaken when the cards are actually released....
There was nothing that I saw in my ordering...

I have had a bit of back and forth emails so far though....

Now these are jumbo sized "Autograph Cards" but i'd imagine that ESP wouldn't be too happy about the NRL giving someone a licence to produce a very similar product.

Interesting times ahead.

If I was ESP i would be pretty peeved at this and I can't believe they would let it happen without a fight of some sort.

I wonder what production size they'll be. The collector in me wants all teams....... Then I remember I hate most other teams! Lol.

I notice they put a pic up on their instagram of some of the cards, but they are only from the eight teams they have up for pre-order on their site.
 
I emailed them. They said all other teams will be available in the next two weeks. They are not putting a limit on how many sets they'll produce this release, as its there first release. All subsequent years will be limited, depending on the sales they make this year.

Surprising considering they sell direct to the public cheaper (And with paypal) than he does?
