NPN sticky?

i have just read some posts on beckett about NPN cards, which i had no idea existed before today. thought if someone wanted to write up a general description about the process it would be very helpful, similar to chads excellent description of TTM autos.

probably a dumb question, but what does NPN stand for?

No Purchase Necessary. on the back of some packs it says you can send in your addy and get free cards somehow, autos, GU...everything.

Usually all the info is on the side of the pack. I've seen some decent stuff sent out over the years. Worth a try but I haven't heard of mates doing it outside of the US.
