New members a lil bit sus!

I have had a feeling the last few days that a couple of members that have signed up might have done it out of revenge. After a thread on blowout was started, a couple of members (one who I don't think is on here any more) seemed to just talk crap and try flog off cards for highly inflated prices. Now I could be way off but I was just a feeling I just had. If its true good luck to them, if false I retract my statement.

Then it was very soon after that you and Topgun joined. Topgun was clearly a liar, that was proven by you in one of his threads.

As I said, I didn't have a problem with anything you did, I just said that you were too eager to back up what the other guy was saying, even though he was lying about things!

Why would i not "back up" a friend that has problems explaining things on a key board?

Go to post #35 - Topgun says he DID NOT buy the jordan from the dodgy seller on eBay, even though someone found a sale from that seller to Topgun!

Post #37 - you then say that once you heard where he bought it, you were worried it was fake!!

Thus confirming that he DID buy it from there! So he lied! Also, that would mean that it cost him $919, bit the $4650 he said it cost!

And don't get me started in the 'auction' where it 'sold' for $10K

AND, he was saying his reason for selling the $10K MJ (that has a nice ring to it) is to buy a house, yet he straight away posted maildays with hundreds upon hundreds of $$$ of Jordan's received and more incoming!!

Spot on brother! He said it "owed" him $4650. I probably shouldn't have started this thread as I'm guessing its what they want us to do but I just had a sneaking suspicion.

Ok i now understand what your saying.

Yes, he did buy it from that somewhat dodgy seller....who in fact HAS sold AUTHENTIC SIGNED CARDS, BUT i have also seen him sell FAKES!

The second he told me where he got it, i said FAKE!!!!
But after he got the confirmation from UPPERDECK (which i have seen) i had to and still do, believe that the card is authentic.
There is no way anyone can fake the hologram from upperdeck, on a buy back auto, unless they owned the card !?!
As for the last time it sold on ebay for almost $10k....
The auction was legit!!! IT got bid up at the last minute from an American buyer, with zero feedback...

The d#ckhead that won it said, that he didn't want to pay because of the zero feedback bidder...and there wasn't much the seller could do?
He has been offered over $5k for the card multiple times, but at the time he wasn't going to sell it that cheap (I even told him not too)
As for lying about wanting to sell to buy a house...Who really cares about that?
Who are you to question his financial postion?

Anyway, I will say this.
He is not a lair about the things that matter.
Who hasn't told a white lie, i lie to myself everyday after i buy a hi-end MJ insert thinking i can afford it!

Until that card has been slabed, i don't think he will ever get what its actaully worth.

If he had of said. :hey guys trying to sell this mj I got it for xxxx but recently contacted UD and they have said (see email) so I have put this price on it: then it might not of been as bad.

OK, i see your point....
The way in which he tried to sell the card, was in somewhat poor form.
But to call him a dodgy seller is so far from the truth its funny.
He is in fact a top bloke, he has some funny arse ways of talking to people and can't type for sh%t what he's trying to get across...
Which some people might find aggressive.

I myself want to see that card slabed and put on the market.
If not, i would love to BURN it so it never starts so much crap again.
