Just checked it out, i usually don't post with top loaders, rather in protective sleeves with cards wrapped in paper inside a padded bag is more than sufficient protection.
I only use top loaders for single cards, that have a higher value, as i don't charge extra on postage for a toploader. :-)

Ok .. well they are the guidelines.. and we all abide by them..and there is many a good reason for it ... If you are selling lower level cards like commons or 1 per pack kinda cards.. in a chunk.. cover in plastic and then also cover in bubble wrap.. then place in padded mailer.. its not much more hassle.. I bought a massive roll of bubble wrap of PO for 6 dollars.. its great I use it for everything.. Everything that classifies as Insert.. should always be put in toploader... I also wrap the toploader in bubble wrap then place in bubble mailer.. because toploaders can still snap and then damage cards.. just heard of it happening twice in past week.. because aussie post.. treat things like crap.. just gives it a extra layer of protection..

Your right about Aussie post, but from all the 500+ cards i have sold on ebay, i have had 1 complaint, before i really started selling and thinking smart, but yeah, i might head over to the post office aswell and get bubble wrap.
