Need help from an old Basketball Card collector

Hi,

I've been messing about collecting cards for years, but I have only recently started collecting semi seriously. I liked the look of Topps Finest 2006-07 cards and collected as many as I could on Trademe, ebay.au and ebay.com. I recently completed the set.

I could do with some pointers as to what's happening in the market with Panini taking over? Which card sets are the ones to collect? A few recommendations on suppliers of card collecting stff like penny sleeves, top loaders and boxes would be helpful.

I'm a basketball nut. I still play at 43. I've just got back from LA where I saw 5 NBA games in 8 days and purchased a few cards and broke some packs (no boxes). Also went to Vegas to play Poker and watch the UNLV Rebels play.

welcome mate must have been awesome watching the NBA games,as for your Q. about pennysleeves etc there are a few places you can get them first to mind is Gary(Westriot) who is a member,I used to get stuff off redtorana(Warren) another member and also a good one on ebay is dj23dj has most accesories you need for the bball hobby.Good luck collecting and I hope you enjoy your time here on OCT.

gday john. welcome to this great forum mate, good to have u here. sweet to see u've seen a few nba games, that wouldve been sick i reckon. im sure you'll also find a number of collectors on here that know a fair bit on panini. me personaly am yet to own my first ever panini card (be it base, auto, gu, whatever), so im no help in that area mate . all the best.
