save me another $50-60. He suggested going through a hungarian proxy at http://www.proxynova.com/proxy-server-list/country-hu/
That way the RRP for league pass changes from $220 USD to $140 USD, then add on the discount code to make it $120 USD.
You still go through the official NBA website to make the purchase though so its still secure.
Cheapest option I could find with a range of proxies was Canada.
If you use a canadian proxy, you can get their price of CAD $99.99, and then use the discount code to bring it down to CAD $84.99.
That's pretty much $85 AUD for the international league pass: reg season & playoffs
Yes anyone who knows how to do this please explain in steps as i am purchasing this in the next couple of days but would love to get it cheaper
I've got a good free proxy program, I'll share when I get home, only downside is it seems to slow down my downloads, my question is this-
If I use a Canadian proxy to make the purchase, am I going to have to go thru the proxy everytime I want to view a game? Coz if this is the case I'm concerned about the download speed.
Is league pass doing free trials this year? Would love to see how it all runs on a proxy before I commit to it
Yeah i don't get how they can justify charging us $220 when Canada gets it for $100 and other countries also much cheaper...
Im pretty sure its not the NBA that hikes the prices. Im pretty sure its just more expensive to send data here because of our limited bandwidth etc. A lot of things like this are a lot more expensive here than in other countries. I had it explained to me one day, but I've totally forgotten lol
So in other words F U to the AUst Government lol
I'd love to know why us Australians are so ripped off by the NBA. I really want league pass to be able to watch the Wolves, but I cannot afford it and I am not savvy enough to go through proxies and such, and I would rather jus go with a fair priced aussie version. Hell I wish they offerred us the same 5 team option the yankees get.
hi guys i am from canada and had league pass last year. from my experience, I do not think the playoffs are included in the 99$ plan because they show the playoff games here through cable tv so everything is blacked out
