This probably was said in the thread already, but definitely stock up on the gaming cards because younger kids would be more interested in that than the sports cards.
Also hosting weekend tournaments might help bring people back aswell

gday Terry, I noticed in your updated first post you mentioned you were basing how much stock to get in on best online prices. As you'll now be a retailer, are you not able to purchase directly from the manufacturer?

Went into my first card shop in around 15 years over here in Hong Kong and he has about 30% sports cards and 70% gaming. The kiddies BLOW Money like you wouldnt believe on that!!
Good luck mate, Ill buy a few boxes when they come in, will keep an eye out

Will be getting a good amount of gaming cards !
Bricks and mortar is what they want to supply and already looking into it
I did some of my comparisons based on what online sellers prices are not what I want to buy for

Def !!! will be getting a box of earplugs in too

My local card shop is all Magic, Yugioh (however it's spelt), Pokemon etc. Anything tournament based. Get people to buy a lot of that and it might open up money to get more NBA in.
You literally right next to it? Taking over Blockbusters or the Turkish Kitchen location?

Will be getting heaps more gaming stuff in than I had planned for It is a part of the turkish kitchen but a separate shop that the owner put in
I think it should go well once the doors open looking forward to having you down to the shop for a chin wag and some serious busting

Terry wishing you all the very best with your new venture, I hope you make a killing! As a backup plan please make sure the terms of your lease allow you to minimise any financial losses by structuring your lease as one year and then maybe two three year terms. This will allow you to cut your losses after only one year should it fail, but I pray it's a booming success for you.
