NBA 2K10 Release set for 9th October in Australia!

Is it your existing player or did you create a new one?

I played another game after the patch and got the same glitch so i created a new player and have been through summer circuit, training camp, 3 d-league games and now the NBA and haven't had any of the glitches.
 
A question for you boy's Are you talking about the 2k10 with Dwight on the cover or the one with Kobe on the cover ? ( xbox360 version )

What are the differences with the two ?

Also how much better than 2k8 ? ( one with Cp3 on the cover ) why i ask usually sports games don't upgrade the physics to much hence waste of cash on buying new versions other than for the rosters.

Dwight is on NBA Live 10 and Kobe is on NBA 2k10. This is the same for all game formats, no different for PS3 and Xbox. We're talking about the Kobe game.

Haven't played an older version, so can't answer the other question. And they all get the roster updates now online ;)
 
I've played 2K every year and if you are someone that is reluctant to buy it because it will be similar to previous years then i can understand that....but 2K10 is worth the buy. The introduction of My Player Mode makes it worthwhile and something completely different from every other release. The main mode over the past few years has been "Association" and i have barely touched it since buying 2K10 (although when i did, i was still impressed with the improved commentary and overlays)

There have been a few glitches with the initial release but hopefully most of that has been sorted now with the latest patch.

When you created a US account did you then have to go and purchase US Dollars for that account with a credit card? If so, was the combine worth the time and hassle now that you've played the regular game? Just curious because was still considering going back and having a go.

I would have had to buy a PS Network redemption funds card, $20US worth, but instead I got a US mate to put $5US into my account with his US credit card ;) I paid him back via PayPal.

It allowed me to play 6 summer circuit style games prior to the rest of the games that you get when you start on the full game. It then also allowed me to choose quarter length and such when I imported my player into the actual game. Has the patch fixed the quarter length?

I liked it, but mainly cause I hated 5min quarters. And in the end, it only really cost me ~$6AU, so eh.

It is existing and I was hoping I wouldn't have to start from scratch.

Dang that may be what I need to do then :(
 
A quick Question In My Player mode , i noticed some guys saying 12 min Quarters ? How do you do that ? Mine is always on 5 mins or is that the summer league? ( this is even if i make 12 mins quarters in options )

Unless the new patch fixed it, which it didn't by the sound of it, you can only do 12min quarters if you get Draft Combine first.
 
I just noticed the funniest thing with my association.

Mind you this is a real player because i downloaded a real life draft class. I played a 2nd season game on my association (2010/2011) and played the Knicks who had a guy on their team named Damion James, who is an SF and he had the number 6. :lol:

Closest they'll get to a guy named James who'll be wearing the number 6 and plays in that position IMO.
 
Alright I'm finally going to moan about this...it doesn't matter if you have perfect defensive position or not, if the computer wants an Ally Oop then the game simply shifts you out of the way to clear the lane...So annoying.
 
Ive had 2K10 for about a month now i hadnt really had any time to play it till the last week or so...Now i completed the Summer Circuit and got to chose my team and dont ask me why i chose the Celtics...Now my average team grade was a after 3 games then i got sent to the D-League and after 5 Games my stats were 20.9 PPG, 6 AST PG and 3 REB PG, then i got the insider dude saying that they were going in a different direction then he said the same team had offered me a contract???Also my average team mate grade is A...I thought whta the F&%K do i have to do to get into the NBA???
Is this just a glitch in the game??When the same team cut me then pick me straight back up again??Some help or direction would be nice???Playin on Xbox 360....

Yeah it is a glitch. Hook your PS3 up to the internet and it should download a patch automatically which fixes it...though you'll have to start your My Player again.

Just brought a house and got Cable internet, this may be a stupid question but do i need to but an Xbox Live 3month voucher thingy??or do i just hook it up and away i go???Cheers
