NBA 2K10 Release set for 9th October in Australia!

I know the cheat to get full stats for myplayer mode but for PC only.
I dont recommend doing it unless you have played it alot and want to jazz things up or if anyone is getting stuck in D-League etc this will make sure you never get cut and you will get A+ ratings every game cause all your stats will be maxed out at 99.

Wow they have a cheat that does that? What's the point of playing it then!

Like I said I dont recommend doing it. My main player is in his second season with no cheats and I thought I would start a new player with the cheats just for some fun. He's in his 6th game for the Mavs and even with all his stats maxed out I still only get like 20-25 points per game. U still have to be open to hit most your shots.

Please tell me you can play My Player mode, from Training Camp onwards, with the sideline camera angle that I used for the summer circuit? The baseline view sucks arse for playing inside...

Once you make the NBA you can choose from much more camera angles including Broadcast view. I use broadcast dynamic cause it zooms in slightly when your proceeding to the bucket

That has to explain the rediculous amount of 99 rated players on xbox in the first few days. I'm assuming it's a hack though, not a cheat like PC.

You have to download a cheat engine to change your skill points to whatever number you like. For example 1,000,000 should do the trick. Then you just max everything to 99. Theres one problem though and I cant figure it out but even though my guy is maxed out in every skill it still says my overall is only 68. I would have thought it would be 99. I wonder if it will go up as I play more games/seasons etc.

My hacked player is a 6'6" all rounder. Its the best way to go cause you get to be a point gaurd for most of the game which means you make the plays. Either rack up the assists or go to the basket yourself or even a combination.

Lately I've been grabbing like 3 steals a game average. The tip is that if you gaurd the other teams point gaurd on inbounds so the inbounder passes it to the shooting gaurd and in most cases the shooting gaurd wants to give it straight back to the point gaurd and he will stop in his tracks ready to pass it. You can then jump in and steal it when he finaly trys to pass it. Steals are also easy when the other team is trying to screen you so the man you are gaurding can get the pass and shoot from 3. If you can get around the pick easily then you can grab the steal when its passed. You need your hands skill to be maxed before this works well though otherwise you just diflect the pass rather than grabbing it cleanly.

Just some little tips ive learned lately

I keep getting this after a few of my D-League games.

"Bad news you've been waived by the Iowa Energy on the back of poor play. But don't worry, the Energy have offered you a contract."

Is this a glitch or what? It's annoying!

I made a 6'5 point guard and was drafted straight to cavs where i was starting after 3 games. By the end of the regular season we went 75-7 and i got MVP, ROTY and in all the first teams. In the finals i only lost one game and got finals mvp.

My stats for the season were (5 min quarters)

PPG:28.5
RPG:5 (2 offensive)
APG:9.3
SPG:5.8
BPG:1
FG:665%
3pt:18%

BTW i got all my steal by just hanging around the PG on the inbound

Yep, it's a glitch. You will keep getting it after every game until you join an NBA team. Happened to me about 10 games in a row. Then suddenly you'll get signed to an NBA team and it stops......for a little while.

Then the glitch comes back even worse. After about 5-10 NBA games you'll start getting this repeat message after every game "Now you have to make some tough choices. These 3 teams are interested in you so you have to make a decision about which path you will take. I'll support your decision whatever you choose."

However, it doesn't actually tell you which 3 teams are interested and it doesn't give you any options to make a choice.....you just get the same message after every game. Very frustrating. I'm hopeful that the new patch fixes this issue because if it doesn't i can't say i'll be that motivated to continue playing the game.

That's very annoying. I'll just play association until the patch comes out.

I downloaded the patch and im happy to report that it fixes the problems in your already saved association. I thought the problems with saved association pre-patch will remain there and the patch only fixes the game when yoiu begin a new association (or any game mode).

I soon realised it when i played one of my association games and my opponent called timeouts throughout the game and only 1 was deducted, not 2. Also im getting new things in my association like instead of the commentator saying the results of 3 NBA games from the night before and then repeating the same results later on, im getting the results of all the games from the night before on the bottom of the screen. Happy that i dont feel the need to begin a new association mode. This is all on the ps3 incase anyone is wondering.

Unfortunately, PC hasn't got the patch yet so I guess I'll play quick games still.

Good to hear that they've fixed several of the problems mentioned though.

Does anyone know when/if the Wii version is coming out here? At first it was start of November, then I saw dates of the 13th but I still haven't seen it anywhere.

Simply start the game with an active internet connection (wifi or cable plugged in) and the game will automatically download it during start up as it logs into 2k sports 69MB file.

New patch hasn't helped that My Player Glitch.

I'm still getting the "bad news you've been waived but good news the team that just waived you is offering you a contract" spill after every game.
