If you believe any of the previous reporting, this makes no sense.

By all accounts, Dallas approached LA not vice versa. Therefore, the trade can have nothing to do with James being "frustrated" with Davis.

I'm keen to see it though - Butler is surely an upgrade over Wiggins at least and will hustle it up for Steph. Can't wait to see a few games.
