Just thought i'd have a little whinge.
I check the mailbox at 3pm and find i have a registered mail slip. Anyway i drive upto the post office and notice a big "CLOSED" sign on his door. So im like WTF is going on i just recieved this slip saying to pick it up after 2pm and it isn't a public holiday. Then i look at the slip and it was written out with yesterdays date, the mug's had my mail and never told me till today when he decides to have the day off!

Lazy grumpy bastard he is

That sucks you need to make friends with your postie, dont p him off or your mail may go missing, make friends and he may go out of his way to deliver your mail, remember you don't want a p'd off postie with a gun at your door,we've all heard the stories about the US postal service haven't we.

 my postie is a cool guy so im safe there, its the guy who runs the local post office who's the issue

Hahaha. Thats bad!

I had a postie come about 1pm and had no cards :(

Then another came about 2pm and have 2 packages for me!!! :kick:

that is the exact thing that happened to me, it has the box ticked for after 4pm so I go get in my car and drive to the post office after 4pm and it closed at 3pm lol

I have 2 parcels that i would of loved to have to opened tomorrow!

Tell me about it... except my beef was with the couriers... my very first purchase from DACW I was eagerly awaiting... (had to be sent to home) tracking said that it had come into NZ but not yet been attempted to be delivered. So, thinking I could go home and maybe wait for it to arrive at lunchtime I rang the company and they confirmed it hadn't been attempted to be delivered yet, and was due anytime from then. So I raced home, only to find a card from 9.10am when they had actually attempted to deliver it... so I spent the whole afternoon phoning/emailing them to get them to redeliver it that day, which is against their policy. Eventually I got it...

My postie and his son collect afl cards so his all sweet, Always knocks on the door even if its not registered post.
Always leaves my packages in a safe spot :D

Haha unlikely mate, i do have something big incoming from the states for my Augustin PC registered but the guy only sent it on Saturday U.S time so thats what 5 days? Way to quick to be it.
