My Hill PSA Submission **RESULTS ARE IN**

how long now till you hear the grades?

Its the PSA Set Registry special ($5 per card) so its pretty much whenever they get done. I'd expect somewhere in the vicinity of another 6 or 7 weeks (35 days) however I could get lucky and have them done quickly depending on demand. There are no guarantees on time frames due to the price, so i'll just check online every few days for updates.

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

Well - got my results back, and can I say im rapt!! These are being delivered to Ryan in the US and he will forward them over, so I wont see them for a while. But thought i'd share my glee with all of you in the meantime :)

Out of 29 cards submitted, I ended up with the following results :
PSA10 - 10
PSA9 - 12
PSA 8 - 7
1 - Not Holdered, Evidence of Trimming (how this happened i'll never know - it was one I pulled from a pack myself)
1 - Not Holdered, Did not meet Minimum Size Requirements (again, one I pulled from a pack myself *shrug*)

The pics of the cards and the results - i'm VERY happy with some of these. Mind you - some of them that got 8's I was really hoping for 9's, and some I thought might get 7's or 8's got 9's and 10's, so go figure.

What I loved was that some of these had been in my folder since when I first got them 10 years ago - I must take decent care of them ;)

Thanks for looking - I will definately post pics again when they return in their holders :)

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh FINALLY!

ABOUT TIME!

Those are bloody awesome grades! The ones that got 8's like the gold are pretty condition sensitive anyway and some 9's and 10's on some stuff that is damn hard to get in those grades!

Hope Ryan doesn't keep them all! LOL

GO PSA you little beauty!

I really didn't expect all those high grades. Awesome once again.

Great stuff!

Congrats!

Wooooo Hooooo!

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

wow! that PSA 10 on the 97/98 UD Game Jersey certainly must make it one of if not the best jersey in your PC!

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

Awesome grades/results G-Will!!!

Despite knowing the results, it'd be an awesome package to open up aye!!

It's funny about the Embossed card, you pulled that in a box break yeah? And I bet it's the same size as the Golden Idol one!

Again, congrats, money well spent!!!

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

Just updated the post with the Pop Reports of each card ... as you can see some very nice results :)

Thanks guys, yes the UD GJ was definately a surprise, I knew it was in great nick, but a PSA10 WOW - i sent it along just to get it in a case and never in my wildest dreams imagined that result. The Skybox DP is also a great result .. first graded 10 of 36 cards graded - definately a condition sensitive card and another great result.

I am VERY happy with the results, not like my past submissions with BGS where I was disappointed by a few of them. PSA ALL THE WAY :)

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

Well that cetainly elimates having to wait for one of the 3 10's etc on some or a 10 that does't exist till now!

Did you pull all of these or buy them as singles and did you pickup any old one or have been anal about condition? Those are insane grades for all that stuff. Cards were a lot thinner back then and the edges and surface suffer terribly on some of those issues.

All that postage pays off now :-)

Re: My Hill PSA Submission

I went through a heap of cards in my folders, and quite a few were as I said, from when I started collecting in the 90's. I purchased a bulk lot from Dave (mojenda) a few months ago with the intention of finding some cards in better condition than the ones I already had - I just went through and inspected everything and anything that I thought was a bit rough I didnt send, anything with 4 sharp corners and looked half decent went to PSA. So in a way, yes I was anal about it (I didnt want to waste my money sending stuff that definately wasnt going to grade well) and it certainly has seemed to pay off.

Can I spoil it and say these are in the country. Repeat in the country!

Ohh ohhh i want to see them! Cmon Aussie post! Come on G!

Thanks Billy I just skim his posts really :-P

This thread could easily hit 10 pages when the scans are up. Those are amazing grades!

LOL thanks Chaddles :) Yes, I didnt think it would be at the Post Office this morning so I didnt bother going. It wouldve been there though :(

Tomorrow morning I will have them in hand!
