Hey guys, in just a few weeks I will be receiving my biggest order yet...... 2 boxes of Gold Standard and a case (3 boxes) of Upperdeck new All Time Great (MJ auto 1:6 boxes) I will open them all live on here old school. I dont know if anyone has checked out all time great yet but man 20 top players only and a very limited number of cards being made. Hope to see you all there for the opening

mate, here is just my two cents. Cancel that All Time Great Auto case.
Very overpriced product. Other than MJ auto, how much can rest players sell? Bird 70, LBJ 250? DR J 70, Magic 70.
The player you can break even is MJ auto. As the odd is 1:6, I don't expect it sells very well, taking MJ auto from Ultimate as reference, my guess it sells for about $500.
Also, they are sticker auto right? $280 and you get a sticker auto...Joke

Theyre not struggling, they still have the best and most innovative products, they just dont have a license. Check DA Cardwolrd top 25 sellers, still mainly UD cards from all sports, Panini round out the bottom.

Yeah I understand where some of you are coming from..... but no they look like on card autos (some I guess), also same can be said about exquisite if you dont pull a MJ or kobe or lebron you have done your cash (especially if the rookie years sucked). And exquisite are still a good seller. I guess if they are short printed they will get a premium price and having alot more 1/1's and stuff also makes a difference. But still thanks for your opinions I appreciate everyone school of thought on this. Also I think upperdeck doesnt use as many redemptions.... man a friend of mine has been waiting for over a year. Any other thoughts guys?

yeah, i think it will still be quality. you should never expect to make back what you spend on a box anyway. overall the card prices will be pushed higher due to the cost of the box, then you add in some 1/1 or other low #'d, and you got yourself an alrite set to chase.
plus UD p!ss all over panini.
Ive never been in the hobby to make money or to break even. I bust boxes for the thrill of it and the joy of the hobby. To me an MJ auto is an MJ auto no matter what it sells for. I don't have one and would love to get one, especially if I busted it. However I wouldn't bust current UD products simply because he's not in his bulls uni.
As for UD they are in more trouble than you can poke a stick at. The company because of the way its been run and the law suits against it are really up against the wall. I wouldn't be suprised to see them go bust or get taken over by Panini in the near future.

This stuff is about 200.00 a tin over priced......
I for one was not a panini fan in the beginning, however I like some of the styles they use as apposed to some of the lame Topps and UD syles. Now in saying that, I am picky anyway about sets I like. I would not get the case mate, I would take that money and get a box or two of SP Authentic which to me is a nicer product. I am looking forward to seeing the gold standard cards, I like the way they look. In the end, I cant spend your money for you, but I think you have a rather good idea of what people think.
