you see evidence of that when you look for technology goods etc, like MP3's etc, they have like 10,000 units etc, it all comes out of a warehouse...

what it comes down to is bigboyd had to find a distributor, and these dodgy guys offered him a good deal, and he probably didnt question if they were searching them or not...he was just happy getting a good deal to make money...and for every 10 complaints outta 100, he'd still be going sweet

hey dude instead of talking smack....listen to what I said. He is giving a FULL REFUND......WHAT THE HELL MORE CAN HE DO!!........that would class as taking repsonsibility to me. If you don't like the way Ebay High Volume sellers are......well buy the boxes from Shops or from online dealers with a great history. You take a risk every time you purchase anything on EBay.....it's the nature of the beast. He has told you he DROPSHIPS, explained how it happened, offered a full refund INCLUDING RETURN SHIPPING......and said he is using it as evidence against his supplier........what more can he do?. You need to take your medication dude.....and be reasonable

Hasnt anyone stopped to notice that HE AND HIS SUPPLIER obviously have a certain amount of Factory sealed boxes (ready to search ) sitting around.They sell dodgy boxes after they have been searched hoping that no one will find out ....and if they do complain then just send em what they were supposet to get!!!!! THE ONES SITTING AROUND!!!

Guys ...I dont care who you are or where you come from or who you have traded with.....UNTIL I MEET YOU FACE TO FACE WE ARE RUNNING ON A TRUST BASSIS....and this guy has betrayed alot of people and needs a square punch in the face...he is cleaning up!

Ps:If someone flogged $500 out of your wallet you would kick their ass...yet someone you dont know sells you boxes that are searched and obviously not factory sealed
...and SUDDENLY EVERYONE IS LOOKIN TO FIND A REASONABLE ANSWER!!...

see dude you guys are ignorant......learn to READ. LOCKY has already said he has dealt with this guy many times and has always been HAPPY with his service. THAT CLEARLY SHOWS HE HAS A HISTORY OF CONDUCTING HIMSELF IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER....does it not. He see's an opportunity to make some money, with no outlay, or the hassles of handling the product......of course he would take it (he assumes he's dealing with professional dropsellers as they are very common). If Locky had emailed him and gotten no response, or just a line of BS.....yeah give him that punch in the head. But the guy can only address issues that are brought to his knowledge. Locky has done this, been offered a FULL REFUND, and the guy said he would deal with it. Must be good for you guys being perfect and all. I mean the guys a PROVEN good seller (in Locky's own words)....soon as something goes wrong, and quite possibly may not have involved him....he's a a$$hole and deserves a beating. Dude get a brain. Im not saying I think its right, I dont dropsell....Im just giving a very realistic side to his story. If someone else on here buys a box from him after this and the same thing happens.....THEN you have every right to be pissed. Get the guys distributors name and take it out on him.

Man....Like 4 people have got boxes from him lately and all have been opened and resealed....
also strange how his reply to Locky is axactly the same as what got sent to other people..SOUND LIKE AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE DOESNT IT??HAHA...something that someone does when they know its going to happen more than once.....,as i was saying until people find out or notice then ofcourse he will try and get your trust back by offering a refund(because you will take him off ebay!)...until then just claim innocent and keep selling searched boxes to suckers like you..

lol thats why Im posting I got ripped off dude. If all these others are POSTING and reporting they got ripped on boxes, why are you buying from him?? This could have happened in a short period of time, which it appears to have from another post I read about this. Only reason Im responding this way, is cause the FACTS....he has been a good seller until now.....drop shipping is common.....and he has responded positively when confronted.......are being put to the side, and you guys just start running your mouth. DONT BUY ON EBAY IF YOU THINK ITS A SCAM.......buy from Dave and Adams or a rspectable site like that. I just posted a very possible side to this story....and you start talking smack. Not like I care either way man. I never said stop sooking Locky and wear it. Im just talking reason. Hope people are more understanding to u if u ever mess up dude

It is true to say I've dealt with this seller before, and he has been very professional. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
It's great that he has replied quickly to me and acknowledged an error. My view however is that rather than simply giving me a refund, he should put me in the same position as I should be - ie with properly factory sealed boxes in my hands. If that means him hunting around for them, my view is that he should do that, and I hope that's what he does.
I'll be a touch disappointed if he simply says - Not my error - here's your Money back. I think it would be good for him to say - look, my distributor stuffed up, I'll make sure you get the correct boxes.

Save the flaming for the obviously guilty parties. A mistake is not always an admission of guilt ie:ripping someone off.

There was a thing on HBO the other night about sports memorabilia forgery. World class signature forgers were busted making fake cards and stuff. And when they were sent to the grading companies hardly any picked the fakes. Also said something about a quad baseball cut auto that sold on Ebay for 85k.....2 autos were suspected fakes. And this is a card pulled from an Upperdeck pack....so its come from them. When you hear crap like that, and the stuff thats happened to you and others with dodgy boxes.....makes u wonder whats going on with the hobby, and where we're headed.

I'm glad I gave him the opportunity of addressing the issue, as he ahs been prompt in replying, and seems to ne making a good effort
The main purpose of posting this here was just to make everyone aware of the issue, and perhaps just to be a bit cautious for the timebeing

locky, this same thing happened to me (that other thread is mine). i asked him the same thing about supplying me with replacement factory sealed boxes, but said the way that paypal claims happen is that the seller has to give a full refund through paypal, and if i wanted another box would have to pay for another one!!

is this what is happening to you?? did you make a claim through paypal??

As I havent made a paypal claim I guess theres a chance he might be able to supply the factory boxes

i see!! thats funny, because i emailed him several times and told him i was giving him 3 days to respond or i would have to take it further. 3 days went and no reply, so i lodged the claim and within 20 minutes i received the reply that both you and I got. strange that he replied straight away to you?? maybe didnt want another claim lodged against him and he just hope that i would go away??

good luck but, i will be returning my box on monday!!

i contacted bigboyd through ebay about a week ago, asking him about can he guarantee all his boxes are factory selaed, and whaddaya know...no reply yet.

he might have a good track record, but this guy is acting as dodgy as they come. i suggest everyone boycott bigboyd.

I am saying is that whether or not he is the one shipping the goods or not, he is responsible for providing the items as they are listed. A full refund is good, but that doesn't make up for Lockymac's trouble, or the costs of shipping the shit back to him etc. As he stated to Lockymac that he might not have any of the legit boxes available, it's pretty fucking obvious he knows the ones he lists are searched.

The fact is, if he states 'factory sealed' in all his auctions, then the onus is on him to make 100% sure every single box he sells is as such, excuses about suppliers dont cut it. Its not good enough to try and make amends after the fact.
