It is what it is,for so long Select have been giving the finger to collectors, not paying any attention to them and now it's getting a little hot so what do they do? Suddenly we see some of our comments on this forum come true,that was no coincidence,AFL have done well,I just hope the NRL doesn't fall behind. In saying all that, I don't want Select to go away and be taken over by another company. The best scenario would be if the AFL be taken over by this other company and Select keep the NRL contract; a little competition doesn't hurt anyone (only the lazy bastards)! I'm not saying that every idea we come up with on this forum is smart, but it's well worth sifting through the stupid ideas and picking up some great ideas that a collector thinks he/she would want to collect and that would be a smart move by any card company.

Very interesting to read that. SO if that is happening in the AFL what is going on in the league. DO players get paid for there photo on a card. Can we get away with a rookie series for League set.

They're pretty friendly. I think the real positive about the guys at footycards is that they also happen to be fans & collectors, so they understand what we want. A 2 minute call to them to ask about products can quickly turn into a 15 minute conversation about cards and players, which is fantastic
