It's a good suggestion, but the current setup will not be changing.

If you want to know where they are located, before doing a deal, the first question you ask should be "where are you located?"

I notice that there are quite a few members who don't put in their location. Now please forgive me if this sounds petty, but I like to know where people are from

For me it makes them seem more genuine if they are not 'scared' to put their location up for all to see, like they are not trying to hide so much.

Anyway, is this something others have an issue with?

I guess what I am suggesting is making it a mandatory field, is this something that would be seen as a positive for the site?
