I think Melbourne, Port and the mighty Lions are the only players in the Ball scenario. I am sure that Melbourne won't take him with pick 1 or 2 and Port won't take him with 8 or 9, so Port have the first have the first shot at him at 16.I f they don't take him Melbourne gets a shot at him at 18 and then the Lions get their first pick of the whole draft (27) which could be used on Ball if he were still available. Some how I don't see him slipping through the cracks to pick 30 for the pies to pick him up.

which is the same situation as jack watts, and he had alot of hype and presure around him and then he hardly did anything in his first year, some people now dont think much of him (i still think he will be very good).
Completly different situation, Scully and trengrove have finished school and are 100% committed to their footy, whilst Watts only just completed year 12 taking quite a few harder subjects .. how do i know this ? My brother goes to school with him.

Simmilarites maybe, but situation is a bit different. I agree that Trengrove may be picked up first for Scully's benifit, but it isn't like Watts.

Being a Saints fan i am upset and saddened to see Bally go, but the game is a team game that is played by individuals so it is up to him where he plays, i think there might be some constovercy about who picks him up, IMO it will be a dark horse with a bit on conjecture ;)

Good luck to all Draftees by the way !!

yes...i hope port get ball at 16 so then the dogies might have a chance at getting my main man johnny butcher!!!

they are similar though....like if scully gets taken at number 1 and then dosnt perform as well, then people will be more harsh on him than if he was maybe taken at pick 2

Ball isn't going to the Demons thats for sure. If he does I'll be one of those members that emails the team tomorrow night to complain.

No possible way we take him at 11 and I don't want to waste pick 18 on him. Not only is he over paid even though we are way under the cap, he has rorted the draft something chronic.

He also stands in the way of the development of our midfield were are youth depths are boosted by another two top picks tomorrow. It makes no football sense to take a player that will be gone by the time we are up and running.

Er...what about Collingwood? The team that he will be drafted by tomorrow?

and guys it is TRENGOVE.

TrengRove plays for Port.

Butcher will be gone by pick 9 PUT UR HOUSE ON IT !!!! S for Ball I to think Port Will take him at 16 If Tapscotts gone (possibly to the Crows at pick 13)

Tapscott will not be a crow at pick 13. Will be either Jetta, Sheppard, Melksham or JMP. A very slim chance will be Talia if he slides.

Ball to be a pie.

Scully will be 1, Trengove 2.

Yes i cant see any other club having the balls to pick him up.... Collingwood should get him...

i reckon Sheppard is going to be a eagle, also hoping Talia and Jetta ont get picked before our next picks (two picks in a row) but i think it is unlikely

Luke Ball wins the award for draft tampering.......

What a complete farce with him refusing to see any other club during the draft process. The rules will change because of this now and rightly so. As soon as the Dee's took a third mid fielder I celebrated that Ball wouldn't be coming our way.

Not to mention the boy giant Gawn!!

The biggest rookie in 16 years and will be the second biggest player in the league behind Sandilands I believe. Raw but if he develops into a good tap ruckman and has Scully, Trengove, Blease etc at his feet ..........

Fox Sports coverage was also nothing short of a disgrace.

Stop interviewing Scully's mum FFS when the other picks are being read out!!! Was embarassing! And Scully didnt know if he was meant to be talking or listening to the draft etc
