WOW these new fandangled thick cards are a bit of alright

A fan of these and whilst some of the prices have been a bit crazy and all over the place these are REAL nice in person. Was shipped in a mag holder too. This is the eBay scan coz as much as I tried it scanned horrible on my scanner. I really wanted the first letter in each players name I got.

Just think of what this guys achievements would of been had he not had to go fight in WW2!

Bit weird getting a modern day card in the mail. Come to think of it bit weird getting card maildays these days

What a nice auto from a guy that is really getting on in age these days and his first auto in a main set apart from the funky action packed of 15 years ago or so.

I have been having a dig at the Havlicek's but for now I'm not buying. The first went for $92US and I had $90 on it.

Second went for $70.

Third one for $62

AND then the C that I really liked went for $120!

Prices are crazy too for all his other autos.

/25's have gone for $102 and THEN /10's for $50

I had money put aside for one but decided a new pair of shit hot sunnies for summer was more a priority than the letterman now and I'll have a crack at one later if I can.

I've got a Hondo auto incoming though :v:

Some of the other Celtic lettermen prices are VERY cheap IMO. I'll pickup an Easy Ed if I can for a cheap price. I paid more for this Ramsey than others that have ended but its the R and has the best auto on one I've seen. Always pays to get a good example.

thats a great card, I dont know why but they scan horribly on my scanner too.
