Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

was browsing the ezy dvd website the other day, saw they had a sweet 3 dvds for $20 deal, so ordered several cool movies:
- once were warriors
- the omen (the original)
- Go
- Halloween (original)
- Collateral
- team america

theyre not MUST HAVE movies imo but for like $6 each worth it.

almost any half decent movie @ $6 is must have for me :lol: sucker for cheap dvds

JB Hi Fi used to make a motza off my when they had big specials on.....which was almost every second week. I think the most i picked up was 39 dvd in a buy 2 get 1 free sale.

How can the original Halloween not be a must have movie? ;)

Once Were Warriors is an intense movie, very good :thumbsup:

Gotta love the Jimmy Dolan Shake & Bake!

Nah dont think he done a bball movie. i just couldnt remember which one of them it was.

Great thing about horror movies is theyre usually cheap.

Saw Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay today.

pretty funny, saw it with like 10 mates. it's really only good if your in the mood for stupid humour, pretty funny still!

Seen a few over the last couple of nights;

Day of the Dead - 4/10 - So far from what I liked about Dawn it's not funny but then again Romero wan't behind the wheel. I thought having Ving Rhames in it might have some kind of connection. I was wrong. It was laughable while tollerable! :razz:

Hellboy II - 8/10 - Awesome visuals and effects with not a bad story line to boot. Just as good if not better than the original.

Wanted - 6/10 - I thought this film was going to be such a cliche with the whole bending bullets and what not. It actually wasn't that bad, if you just forget about what's reality but hey that's what movies are about for the most part. Worth a watch if only just the once.

The Devils Rejects - 5/10 - Not bad, not a whole lot to say here, it's Grindhouse to the bone so you get what you get. Decided to follow up with House of 1000 corpses again (TDR being the sequel), was weird watching it in the prequel sence. Nowhere near as good as 1000 corpses.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead - 8/10 - Watched this one without knowing anything about it. Great film, no more to say, catch it if you can. :thumbsup:

STREET KINGS !!!!
Never like keaneau reeves (as it sounds lol) but this was one of the best movies I have seen for some time....

So good that as soon as it comes out it will be joining my PC of action DVD's

9.5 out of 10 (4.75 out of 5 just didnt sound right ;))

That was a good one, similar to Training Day but original in it's own right. =D>

love all of em

Fantastic film Blade

Seen a few more recently, keeping the reviews pretty blunt;

Step Brothers - 6-10 - Good for a few laughs. Grown men acting like 7 year old siblings is funny in itself. :lol:

Tortured - 5-10 - Not bad, a bit boring at times. Original though.

Diary of the Dead - 7-10 - My kind of Zombie Flick! :thumbsup:

Prom Night - 3/10 - Damn, can I get that 90 minutes back? :blink:

Shutter - 5-10 - Didn't quite deliver on the scare factor, pretty tame and most definitely didn't need to be remade/ripped off.

Hancock - 7 -10 - Better than I expected and most likely because I didn't rush to see it. Definitely worth a watch.

How would you compare it to some of the others on market?

I like me a good zombie flick, but lately been struggling to find one.
