Kiwi basketball new collector cards, jordans

Hi all,

My names Kael, My love for basketball has grown ever since i was a kid to the point
This past season that just finished i was probably watching at least 2 games a day on nba league pass haha.
When i was a kid i used to collect cards but unfortunately my little collections was lost a long
Time ago, i have recently moved to Australia for my job and general lifestyle, I have been viewing ebay for sometime and new that all the card sellers must have some sort of community based forum and im positive i have found it . My hobbies would be bastketball, nrl, sport in general, started to collect Jordans when i can afford them. Hopefully i can become apart of the community and learn alot from you all.
Looking to start my collection from scratch so any pointers to threads for beginners would be appreciated.

If anyone could also lead me to a glossary of the terms acronyms you all use for this site would be helpful,

Im looking to buy a case within the 200-500 mark depending on the brand, year, whats included in it ( autos/memorabilia, etc. can anyone lead me to a good starter set? Panini ?

Can get a case of 11/12 past and present for around $600 delivered thats about the cheapest

Yeah mate thats rite can get some older cases a little cheaper

For most of the nice cases u r looking at over $1000

Is the panini past n present a good serie? Value wise if i crack a good sig? Is there a website to show prices of individual card series? Or like thoses magazines were theyy give u price ratings? Sorry for the 100 questions but im starting from scratch

They were $100 a box when first released so for the money they are good value
If I was spending 600 I would personally get 2 or 3 better boxes but up to u
