Linn - If you leave then it is on your own accord ! All I was doing was venting a frustration ! Mattyj is right, I don't think you have done anything wrong, in fact you haven't done anything i haven't done before, I was simply venting my frustration. Just to make things clear - I have no problem with you, I have no problem with you & I bidding on the same card & last but not least eBay is a entirely different entity to this Trading Board so what happens there should have no impact on what happens here.......ONCE AGAIN I WAS JUST VENTING MY FRUSTRATION - NOT HAVING A GO AT YOU !!!

To the rest of you who have added their 5c worth along the way - I have no problem with Linn or being outbid, I have done it myself !!! I just found it frustrating that I have to enter into a bidding war with someone from here if I want the card - THAT's IT ! (Nothing more sinister).

and, i just won some cards from the seller (who's also from here).. so at least, you should probably think someone's looking for combined postage rather than "buy and trade with me scenerio".. why would i buy to trade with ya?? i just don't get it.. if i am looking for feedbacks, i would never send 10+ free packages to members here...

i no longer enjoy this... it's totally absurb...

i agree, its totally fair game, should not even be a subject of debate. this thread is just a way to indirectly attack someone (the convenient excuse of "just venting" is pretty paper thin) for doing something which is completely within the rules.

i have been outbid by fellow members on cards i really wanted and have sent them a message afterwards saying congrats, glad the card is at least going to a fellow ozcards member.

i agree with JZA if you aren't trying to attcak someone then keep it to yourself and as for you supposedly just venting your frustration stopping sulking and either let the card go or bid higher

I didn't read JZA'a comment as I have him on my "ignore list" but if I feel I want to vent again I will !!! If the Mods tell me otherwise then I will abide by their ruling, other than that I post what I like champ

Especially when MOST people understood I was NOT attacking anyone but simply venting at the frustration of the moment.

It's done & dusted, Linn is cool, I am cool, if any mod is reading this then please lock this thread

Sorry about that Richo, i was just stating it was a bit unnecessary to go public.. coz eBay is another public thingy.. I know you are not having a go at me at all.. but i just felt bad because you thought I bid this card to trade with you.. I would never do that to any member here.

All i do here is chat around, buy some cards, make some trades.. I am not looking for feedbacks as well.. all i want is to enjoy the environment here.. make some purchases.. do some maildays.. which i started doing just this month... and admire other's collections..

But being in heated discussion and venting about other member who doesn't know your eBay ID.. it is also like showing your dislike of being outbid in frustration to me.. I think other guys also discussed about from seller perspectives and buyer perspectives as well.. so, it's all done.... and we all can move on...

This is getting boring now, did anyone actually read my first post ???

Once again - I DID NOT VENT ABOUT A PERSON AT ALL !!!

I vented at the frustration of being outbid by a person from Ozcards when I hadn't bid on Duhon cards in a while. I don't know what "going public" means, I already said it is fair game and i don't have a problem with it so there is nothing to go public about !!!!!

The sooner the mods lock this thread the better.

That is spot on. At first ozcards didn't like this sort of stuff and preffered the obvious player collector to get the card. All it took sometimes was a quick PM. Now ozcards has got bigger with more members and conflicting collection goals our idea of a card utopia has become even harder and pretty impossible.

We DO ask that stuff is sorted out privately first as its usually the better option to do unless you have no idea how to deal with it. If you can't deal with it then pm a mod and THEN post to avoid threads that get out of control.

While Shoes may think its all fair game we also have some rules that we have stated over and over again. Buying up cards and then selling/trading at prices that are way higher to player collectors here isn't on. If you are buying for a trade and you give the collector the fair value for the card in the trade close or at what you paid for, thats great. If you get an eBay bargain by all means post if for sale at a higher price, just don't target collectors.

Even then I'm just a fan of sending them a link and working out a deal to buy the card for them and trade or something similar. This a place for trading amongst friends, not profiteering. Not that this one is about making money though. Just pointing that we do have some values we stick to here.

When posting these vent threads when nothing has been discussed by the two parties its ALWAYS going to cause problems.

As for an auction that hasn't even finished yet.

There are better ways to deal with it than this guys.
