Jonathan Brown

Maybe for you but as a Melbourne supporter and all round lover of football, there is nothing to dislike about Brown. He's hard at it, fair, not a niggling player, plays full tilt and always gives his all...not to mention he is unstoppable! Can't help but like and respect that.

EDIT: And before anyone has a crack at the 'fair' comment I made, I know full well he goes to the tribuneral a heap, but at least when he hits someone, it's not that unfair attempted hidden crap you get with a Steven Baker/Alan Didak type.

Yep...agree with all written Nenja!! Great write up mate, couldnt agree more. :worthy:

true that about him and the tribuneral but he has pulled his head in the last season or 2.

but since they finally worked out how to get the ball to him from the mid he's unstoppable.

carn the lions :v:

Well said Ducky. It was almost heart-breaking watching JB trying to outmark 3 guys earlier in the season. Go the Mighty Lions:thumbsup:

yeh agree with ya aswell Nenjabin, haha that's 3 Melbourne supporters that love him on Oz Cards :)

He is just great to watch and a freak of nature, he's kicked 42 goals in his last 8 games lol

I love watching him play also, Brown plays with no fear, eg- when him runs back into packs to take marks. You don't see many players do that to often.

While 42 goals in 8 games in todays footy is a huge effort. I remember back to when Lockett, Dunstall & Ablett would kick 40 odd goals in 3 or 4 games. I miss those days.

After winning the Coleman Medal Jonathan Brown is now my favourite player outside of Collingwood :worthy:. I had a couple of huge bets on Brown to win the Coleman Medal a couple of months ago when his odds were $8.00, which has now returned me a nice profit of $2,000.00  The Magpies tried to get Brown in a trade a few years ago, and i think the offer was a Million Dollars to leave Brisbane. I can only imagine, but with Brown in our side today the Pies would be just about unbeatable. Brown has had a great year, and he has to be a certainty for his first All-Australian selection this year =D>.

browny had a very slow start to the year, but his 2nd half of the year has just shown what a superstar he is,great player and well desrving of his first coleman medal!

well done browny=D>
