Danny Green is an awesome player mate I was kind of hoping Miami would pick him up - but I guess with their spread of SG/SF type players perhaps he would have been redundant.
The role he played for the Tar Heels was a James Posey type role - quality minutes in defending on the perimeter and knocking down open shots. His stock was hurt because he's a good athlete but not a big-time athlete in addition to the fact that he doesn't handle the ball all that well.
That being said I think he'll be a good pro - he did some good things for the team that won the national championship so he obviously can carve out a niche for himself. Anyway he's a 2nd rounder so there's no guaranteed contract there yet.
As for Austin Daye he's really unathletic. A lot more unathletic than Tayshaun Prince (who is quite athletic!). But yeah he is a very skilled player. Because he's still a bit raw and could refine his game and do with more experience I was surprised to see him go #15 he really could have gone anywhere in the first round up to number 30.
He's a real long guy, freakish wingspan and he's a 6'11 SF which sums it up. Got a sweet stroke on him and he can handle and pass the ball quite well - but atm he's really very physically weak and doesn't play great defense. Definately not what I would expect to be an NBA-ready player, I wouldn't expect him to contribute this year. To sum Daye up he's very skilled, lots of room for growth and potential but atm I believe he's too soft.

They say that this draft is weak like the 2000 draft, but many analysts say be wary as it really isn't quite as bad as the 2000 draft.
There is still a wide array of talent in this draft so it's really quite hard to predict how good it will be.
In my opinion I don't think it's that bad as there are a number of upper-classmen and seniors who i believe are flying under the radar in terms of what they will do in the NBA. Guys like Terence Williams, Sam Young etc I all believe could be solid players.
But because they aren't overly young and don't have the hype of say a Blake Griffin or Hasheem Thabeet - they tend to be overlooked.
That being said when you have guys like DeRozan, Brandon Jennings, Rubio, Stephen Curry etc in the draft, that's a lot of talent. So right now it may not look as good as last year, or Kevin Durant's draft class or Lebron's etc - it's hard to say what they could become. Additionally it's not a TERRIBLE draft class by comparison to history. It's only bad compared to what we've had since about 2002, and what we've had from 2002 definately isn't average.
We've become accustomed to very good drafts like the 2002 (Yao, Amare, Boozer etc), 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 etc who have all had stars, but in the 90's not every draft class was great. So this one could shape up to be okay.
In regards to Mills I don't know a lot about Sergio Llull but I do know if your comparing him with Brooks - Mills is also a very Brooks-like player. His similarities to Brooks' playing style are striking, both really not true PG's but undersized SG's who like to shoot the ball, they are more offensive minded than running sets. Quite similar in my mind, both very quick also. If you added Mills you really would have had a Brooks replica.
