yeah mate can't wait. But don't we get it waaaaaaay behind the US here? It hasn't been on since I've been back in Oz, but I know when my sis came to stay with us in the states that she didn't want to watch cause we were a looooong way ahead of where it was here. Be cool if it does show then, it's been AGES since I've watched some. Love that show.
Watching the old seasons is awesome huh.......and addictive! No ads, and just back to back show........sweeeeeeet!

Finally watched seasons 2 and 3 this last week or so, and started on 4 last night, just get's better as it goes. 10 more episodes and then I'm to scratch, might watch them all again before season 5 kicks off; there's definitely a few things I've missed.
Can't believe I slept on this show, it's like a drug.
Anyone know if season 5 will be as short as 4? 4 seams to be throwing you into the deep end quicker than the first 2 so I suppose the small amount of episodes doesn't matter...

First three are all 23 to 24 episodes long, season 4 dropped to 14. Doesn't really matter, I suppose quality over quantity is better but the first three seasons were all great, so not sure why they shortened the fourth and if the fifth will be the same. Makes little difference, season 4 looks to be the best so far even though I've seen only a handful of episodes. Still curious though as to why and if it will stay that way...

they have the remainder of the series pretty much mapped out to finish at the end of season 6.
prob been setup that way for actors contracts, timing, filming lengths etc.

looks like Sun will be kicking some butt this season, wonder who she will be squaring off against
yeah 4 got bitten in the butt due to the writers strikes
they have the remainder of the series pretty much mapped out to finish at the end of season 6.

Ah ok, makes sense now but kinda sucks at the same time, from that I take it season 4 didn't go as they had planned but they've kinda sowed it up in away that works?
Anyway I'm off to watch a few episodes before I crash (no pun intended). And thanks, now I know Sun doesn't die in the next 10 odd episodes.

Season 4 was only meant to be 16 episodes anyway, as were season 5 and 6. They were only planning to go until season 5, but ABC made a deal to make the last three seasons 16 each to stretch out the last two seasons worth of episodes into three seasons.
So I think seasons 5 and 6 are now going to be 17 each, to make up for the two episodes lost in season 4 due to the writers strike.
Anyway, can't wait for the first new episode!!!
