That uproarious outburst you hear that sounds something like euphoria mixed with celebration is most likely coming from the far back corner of Panini America HQ, where the company’s NFL Product Development team is — at this very moment — putting the finishing touches on the Quality Control process for the retail edition of 2013 Score Football.
Cause for celebration? Absolutely. And once you see just a glimpse of this year’s 2013 Score Football in the gallery below, you’ll likely agree. From the incredible base-set photography (which we’ll peek in more detail tomorrow) to the classic throwback design of the Rookie Cards to the shimmering sheen of the set’s Scorecard, Artist Proof and various other parallels, this year’s Score is designed to impress in a big way.
You’ll notice in the gallery a vibrant-blue parallel of the Rookie Cards that will be exclusive to Walmart stores. There’s also a red version that’s exclusive to Target stores. We’ll have plenty more to preview on 2013 Score Football right here on The Knight’s Lance in the coming days, including a closer look at the jumbo hobby release and tomorrow’s examination of the great base-set photography.
