How does Probstein on ebay work exactly?

@graham may be able to add he used a similar service.

Essentially you pay for him to list and sell your cards. Essentially you are using his service and making the most of his huge following, ebay experience and taking the pain away of doing it yourself.

The costs he charge vary - although I couldn't find an up to date one

Cheers guys I found him on the bay and have sent him an email so hopefully that will answer all my questions.
Was wondering selling via Comc or Ebay, I think ebay is the way to go.

Your cards would have to be pretty good and you'd likely need a heap to make it worthwhile.

Think about ebay and paypal fees, then you are adding consignment fees... all that after paying to get the cards there.

I think yes, time-wise, totally worth it to have someone else handle a bulk amount of cards and get them moved. But I think you'd need to have mid-high end cards to get noticed and make enough coin to offset the costs.

INterested to hear how you go with it. Good luck

*** no forms, just include your contact info inside the box
**** Payouts are sent either as paypal gifts or checks typically around 7 days

Only ships in the US as far as I'm aware, so wouldn't get the same exposure as say PWCC who ships internationally.

I've used PWCC plenty of times, could not be happier using them.

Fees are a little higher then Probstein on all lower end cards, min is $10 plus 10% on raw cards that sell under $100, but all the fees are listing on PWCC website. Payments take 2-3weeks after auction end date, and go straight into your PP account (less 1% fee),

I've lost some and won some using them, but a hassle free service from the get go,

If you need anymore info, pm me

I've recently sold a $5000 lot with probstein on ebay. He's very easy to deal with, but the cards need to be high end if you want it listed straight away. I'm talking $50+ for the majority of them. Otherwise it would take a good 2-3 months to get listed

Probstein and PWCC are quite large sellers in USA, some love them and many hate them. Really only worth it if you have higher end cards, as others have said here. They reach much larger audience than any individual can on their own.

Had him sell a few cards for me the other week. Never sold on ebay and didn't want to deal with any deals going wrong so it was a no brainier for me, also will throw off a lot of buyers being from NZ and needing to ship internationally. Haven't got my payment yet but has only been a week since auctions end and advises payouts are usually around 7 days but communication has been great and usually gets back to me in a couple hours. I have another lot I'm looking to send, thinking about trying PWCC as probstein only sells in USA only and PWCC is international?

If I ever sell will definitely go through a site like this as they generally get pretty good prices, I find most things sold in OZ always sell way cheaper than normal ebay prices.

This is exactly why I'd recommend them - you mightn't get the full value of the card into your pocket by using them, but you would usually do better than if you were selling from Australia/New Zealand.
