You might be right about the thread, but I would be complaing, female or not mate. Like I've stated in all of my posts, if your no good at your job you should be told. You are basicaly saying she should be given special treatment, I don't know what you and your mates think, but If I have to watch a game of footy with a ****house commentator it drives me crazy and I'll let my opinion be known to all.... No need to imply that Im sexist mate.

I'm afraid I'm in the camp of the dislikers....her voice needs a lot of work....and her calling always seemed to be behind the action on the field. And it's nothing to do with being a male sport....Luke Darcy does the netball and does a reasonable enough job.

If you want a balanced argument that takes into account males...I'll just add this....Channel Seven's commentary has set the game back 20 years or more. Bland and lifeless. Bruce is a disgrace and he's bringing Dennis down with him. Leigh Matthews is balanced and insightful...and he's trying to be a mentor for Buckley.

Compare this to Channel 9's coverage of the EJ Whitten game and it was the sort of commentary that made Friday night football must-see TV.

Channel 10 need to be given credit for giving Richo and Lloydy a go whilst they are still playing...they give a players perspective on the game whilst developing their media skills....similar to Luke Darcy a few seasons ago.

Channel 9's commentary team and coverage was streaks ahead of the rest a few years ago and it hasn't changed since.

Give the footy back to 9 I say!

People make fun of, complain about and take the piss out of male commentators all the time. How much does Bruce Mcavaney cop? Dennis Commitee ****s me at times too cause of his cliches. Just cause she's female doesn't mean we can't pot her too, and nobody in this thread has said that she's **** cause she's female either, until you came along and decided that's what it was all about.

It always astounds me how people are so "women and men are equal" and then as soon as it comes to making fun of them and such it all goes to "no you can't do that cause she';s a she".

on the ten website it says it is her tenth season as commentator!!! Haven't heard her before

She's often a 'boundary rider' type who does footy stories for the news. I didn't see yest afternoon but apparently she's no good! Hardly surprising, I don't think I like ONE Ten Commentator. Quartermain is safe and lifeless, Walls is earnest and boring, the rest are just over-paid ex-footy bone-heads. Especially Darcy! Much prefer Ten Footy on mute and Black Sabbath LOUD on the stereo!!
