Nick just download it man from the net, we will probably get it in 1- 2 weeks maybe some stores will have it, but if it wasnt worldwide release date and it was just released today in usa we will get in bout

Also i would just like to express my anger at itunes Australia for not having The Roots - How i got over in their catalogue! I've been dying to grab it and it was released today in the states but still no sign of it here
Anyone know when we can get it?

Hey guys sumtn must of happened with the shady/ slaughterhouse deal and I dont think its official that they signed them up, but Em's manager Paul Rosenberg confirmed yesterday that they are still trying to sign them to shady records.....

Yeah its crazy guys, it was the first time Em rapped in public after the death of Proof, Proof died in April 2006 and the BET awards were on late June 2006, you see Em sporting the P on his chain, sick......

Hey aussiemjfreak told me bout this thread and it's a great idea. My room is filled with hip-hop/rap/RnB every where (literally) so I accidentaly made a thread before I saw this and here it is. Yeah i saw the P on his neck and wondered what that was all about and then when they said Proof at the end I cottened on. Were they like really close friends? Cos he refers to him a few times in his new album aswell

Yeah mate they were best friends since early teens, both from Detroit, Proof got popular when they formed D12 and released Devils Night, Proof got shot in the head by a bouncer outside a club in detroit in 2006. Em hasn't been the same since.

To be honest I havn't heard it yet Nick, I have listened to "how i got over" pretty nice mellow, jazzy feel, real cool track. I have only heard good things bout the album so ill cop it when it comes out here, might even download it.
