Hawks vs Bulls today

Just catching up on the games played today to see what happened in the Hawks vs Bulls game today. The Bulls held the Hawks without a field goal in the third quarter, Atlanta was outscored 28-8 in the third and finished 0-for-16 from the field. It was the first time the Bulls held a team without a field goal in a quarter. Thats crazy, even for the Hawks but with Joe Johnson only getting 9pts it was going to be tough.

And what about the Spurs/Nuggets with AI being held to 9 also and Carmelo with only 15. JR hurt his knee apparently..

The Hawks scored 8 points in the 3rd quarter. Hahah, how embarressing!

Yep it wasnt too good. The Hawks had been playing well up to the All Star break so hopefully it was just one of those games. Both JJ and J-Smoove had bad games, so that equated into a shocker for the team, with only J-Chill providing any decent numbers.

8 points is bad, but not near the record low for a quarter. The record is 2 points, achieved twice, once by Dallas in 1997 and once by Golden State in 2004.

Luckily, its only one game out of 82.
