alright, then to answer the question: yes, only cos the other bands have less of a chance: tool, soad, and NIN are all not commercial enough, and WHO-cherry??? the grammies are worthless anyway, they hold no value to any real musician.
i think JZA hit the nail on the head, i reckon wolfmother and jet suck balls, i judge bands by creativity, originality and how good they are live in concert and these 2 bands suck at all 3, as for the grammy for best hard rock album Tool's 10,000 years should of won hands down, how you can choose wolfmother over tool for a award is beyond me#-o
hehehe I have more interest in the oscars this year as MY fave aritist is nominated for an Oscar for best song from a soundtrack ... and i prefer the songwriting awards over the grammy's anyday.... especially if Wolfmother can beat Tool!
I can't stand Wolfmother. I wish I could stab that guys vocal cord. He can't sing to save himself. I don't mind Jet. I'll listen to it if I hear it. BUT.......
I think System Of A Down deserved a damn good chance at the award.

Saw them for the first time at a festival, and they were even shite live, no musicmanship at all, so boring, even big fans of theirs said they were shit!
And **** unicorns you at the drive-in looking git!
