If you click on the bid history there is me and someone else that have bid on the item. Click on the middle bidder and you will see that he has bid on 8 items all with the one seller. Dead giveaway.
0 feedback seller with a 0 feedback bidder with 12 bids on 8 items with this seller in the last 30 days. I'd lean towards shill lol
im sorry this happened. but once again, another reason to use a sniper bid site.
i use that for every auction on ebay. stops the shill bidding.
as mischa said, ebay dont give a toss.
I don't understand why eBay bothers catching shill bidders, they actually get more money out of the sale if the final price is higher... even if the shill bidder ends up winning, the seller might sacrifice the small final value fee to act like the sale is legit... and even if the seller is cheap enough to file for non paying bidder, ebay would have already made enough money from the listing fee and the seller is guaranteed to list the same item again... so once again, ebay wins again.
From what we have read in another thread, eBay doesn't seem to care too much about justice... who's right, who's wrong... so why catch shill bidders!! what's the benefit to them?
Another dumb question what is a sniper bid site?
Bid activity (%) with this seller: 100% - Shill.
I can take a trip down to Rockingham to recover the $5 hahaha
Sucks mate, small seller with a 0FB shill-account, nothing much can be done other than letting the tosser know he isn't as smart as he thinks he is..
If you're happy with the final price, I'd probably just pay it and move on. If you let him know you're onto him, who knows what else he will do, maybe send an envelope with some empty Kit-Kat wrappers instead of the item you bought.

Its a program that places your bid at the last second. Give other bidders no chance to respond to your bids. Type it into google - there are a few out there.

Doesn't always work though.
im not sure you can be positive this is shill bidding. just as likely to be a brand new member who has made his first bids from this particular seller. its not like hes got loads of total bids...
if it was blatant, id report it. e-bay are pretty quick in dealing with these matters.
